We need some nyggas who aren't scared to get physical.
Since this altercation, I had time to reflect. Hiphop/battle rap has gotten soft in general. Even I was upset last year over the Math/Serius incident last year because I was caught up into what was good to the business. I was blind, because the reality is why should I care about battle rapping growing into some commercial bullshyt? Battle rap will never die. The better battles happened years ago in that Math/Verb type of environment. We need that hard shyt. All these nyggas trying to be friends has got to stop. When I heard Holla/Surf got into a fight, I liked hearing it.
We need a real league out here. This is my vision for this league. They have to be 25 years or older. I am not trying to hear little kid bars. These nyggas have to look the part. I got to believe what they are saying. These battles rappers need to be 6'3 at the minimum. No less than 225 lbs. Have an entourage with a minimum of 10 people at these battles. No complicated bars, all bars have to be straight to the point. Most importantly, no jokes allowed. All battles take place in a small room where alcohol is free. It's time to bring that aggressive content back into the game with nyggas rapping about the harsh realities of their environment. We got to run an actual background check. They have to have an actual record. No more of that fake shyt. No more weirdos. I see a nygga with a mohawk, a bowtie, funny looking glasses, or some skinny jeans, my gang affiliated security team is beating that ass. I'm not sure what their involvement would be, but I would like to have guys like Suge, J Prince, C-Murder in some type of role.
This battle is like one Daylyt actually can take something from. A lot of his past battles did nothing for his growth. Not even the Chilla one. That might've had him exercising the quill to its peak though.
Clips is the first battle rapper he's faced that can take the crowd like he does just in a different way imo. Shows him the value of an angle against someone.
its not better than day vs chilla but from a top tier perspective its a very good battle, even if people think day lost its very close its a good look for him

Anywho on the 2nd watch i got Day 2-1.....nowhere near the Chilla battle, but he took the 1st and 3rd. Clips is just a great version of DNA.
