I was having this conversation couple days ago
JC vs Chilla classic dropped almost 2 years ago, their stock went through the roof
about 2 years later, which one of the 2 has progressed the most career-wise & skill-wise since then?

Chilla easily, taking mostly high profile opponents, while JC seems to take any small battle thrown his way.
Ehh they both got high profile people since. JC got Charlie Clips, Yung Ill, B Magic, Tay Roc, JJDD. I actually think JC might have more high profile battlers since.
He battles more because he might need more money, Chilla is more selective but I don't think either is more high profile than the other. Chilla hasn't even had a Smack/URL battle since DNA. That was well over a year ago.

career wise, JC. Chilla might not get another URL battle after rapping for 15 mins a round against DNA lol
skill-wise, Chilla. He's been closer to the level of that battle much more consistently than JC

Skill-wise it looks like Chilla really studied his craft and progresses battle after battle, where Jc seems like he's "just aaight at this point". It's like he lost that "it".

I do think JC chosing to take those no-names bums in between wasn't a good choice, it's an understandable one tho.
I don't think it really hurt him, because it keeps his name out there when he kills them. I think the only thing that hurt JC some is that he seems to take them more seriously than he does the vets he gets. He did retire Rich Dollaz and beat Clips though
I also think JC is better than Chilla, by a nice margin. But that might be because I'm more into nikkas with haymakers

LOL I always laugh when Clips claims undefeated he has some clear Ls. I don't think anyone I've seen battle is undefeated. Everyone to me has clearly lost to someone
I check for JC more than Chilla. When JC is on top of his game he is sort of unfukkwitable (made that word up).
that being said, he isn't always on his shyt so you get that mediocre JC which is hard to listen to. Chilla on the other hand brings the same shyt every battle and you know what you are going to get. Its still a toss up to me. I wouldn't mind seeing them go against each other again on a grudge match night. Just no big stage though.
