Im wait to see but if Mook really was garbo thats mad disappointing.

I dont think hes good as Lux or Hollow I mgiht not even have him top 5 but hes still a legend and dope and besides that I feel like more than anyone his style is like the blueprint of smack kind of, I thought he would transition easy to the current scene. But idk Im seeing mixed opinions some say very dope but crowd wasnt into it, others say he was awful.

Im still at Lux first and second rounds..Calicoe was spitting too..but Lux makes you look like an amateur, man.

It's a very simple concept, tho. All the mics are running through a PA system so sound can go through the speakers. Just hook a damn laptop up to the PA system to record the mics and use THAT audio and not the audio from the camera. Maybe have a stereo boom mic to get the crowd reactions and whatnot. It all can be easily synced when they edit it. I will never understand why this isn't standard practice. Smack dropping battles with only the left side working and shyt. That Verb/Hitman battle is a prime example: the cameraman is in the crowd and they used the audio from the camera so we have to listen to the nikkas standing next to the camera over the rappers. lol

yea mook vs iron was very hard to sit through

i was watching the first 48 and paying more attention to that at times while the audio was going on that one

if smack paid mook 20k and iron 10 he just wasted 30k for a battle that was all name no quality.

could have paid a newer cat a lot less and got a lot more. smh

alot more in what tho? Better rhymes possibly, but definately not nearly as big of a draw, the return of the legends thing was a brilliant idea. I mean forget that the event sold out but to have Diddy, Busta, qtip, Banks, Fab, and Cassidy all at the event. and Sigel was around there somewhere.

New York lost alot of respect from me after watching that verb t-rex battle. They sat there and let t-rex spit completely uninterrupted and aye verb couldnt get thru 4 bars of his 3rd round before they just start booing for no reason. than they booed him right before he delivered his common ground punchline, ruinin the affect of it. They just showed that they some dikkridin, unfair, hatin ass nikkas that dont deserve no big event what so ever. they so fukkin biased, they think they above every other city, they need 2 sit the fukk down somewhere wit they dry ass. they wonder why they cant make no fukkin comeback in the music industry now.

It Big Crowds breh

Verb/Hitman crowd was annoyin, they kept on interruptin Verb when he was tryin to spit his bars and that was at home

The Chicago crowd made Verb slip up in his 3rd, when just before the choke you can hear a few people shoutin shyt behind Verb

The SM's crowds are just ruthless, but you cant say oh its NY crowds they c*nts, when Okwerdz choked vs Rone the NY crowd gave him respect and didnt really try and get on his case till like 20 secs after the fact when he stil lwerent spittin

KOTD crowd is full of drunk Cacs who overreact to anything, the Ice/Pat Stay crowd was a fukkin embrassment.

The West Coast/Cali crowd overreacts to their favourites


And tbh, Verb did cause some of the problems with the NY crowd by continuely beign disrespectful of them and everyone knows how NYers ride for their City, the amount if NY/East Coast callers when Verb's on BRA is jsut mental, they always got something to say about him
