Everyone's situation is different. For some guys, battling often is necessary to stay relevant. For others, battling less is more beneficial to their brand. My thing with Clips is he really shouldn't have to be one of these guys that has to battle on every single card. He's highly regarded. Why not raise his standards? He can make more money in one battle as opposed to taking multiple battles to make the same amount of money.
I'm not in trying to be in the nygga's pockets, but when I listened to that Cheddahouse blog, it's not like it took a lot of money to lure him in. I'm not watching that blog again, but he ended up with either $750 or a $1000 for that Heartless battle.

I agree, his name is up there where he can charge a good enough price to be selective, and if he is gonna take that many battles than he should give it his all every time, that's why regardless of what people say about Danny Myers even if you don't like his style at least he tries every battle
I'm beating this topic into the ground, but I don't consider Day's antics to be any worse than the rappers who have a reputation for showing up to "less beneficial" battle unprepared, then try to make references to nikka ruining the culture. Taking a battle lightly is just as much of a let down (to me) as a nikka doing some weird shyt. I paid (maybe) or clicked on the video to see a rap battle, not a mockery. Coming with an incomplete battle or "freestyling" (almost NONE of these nikkas can freestyle more then 4 bars before it gets wack) a round is a let down.
And I'm a Clips and Verb fan, but both of them nikkas piss be off just as much as Day.
