Seems like dudes are still giving wins only on bars. I'm gonna make sure it's stated first that I have not judged the battle at all yet. So I don't know if Lux won or Cal won. Ok, now with that said...battle rap has evolved past "what you say." "How you say it" has become an important factor in battle rap as well. How hard a punches are against your opponent is just as important as your volume of punches.

So if you're giving Lux the win just because he had genius level bars...unless every 20 seconds he had a bar that has nikkas then you're not judging fairly. Again, I'm not saying anyone lost or won. Just wanted to clarify that the standard for judging battles has gone beyond "just bars." They are vital, and the most important part to your round, but just being dope alone doesn't guarantee wins.

it's not just bars, it's delivery as well (Lux is top notch) and performance (again, Lux is top notch)

Lux is probably the most well-rounded battle rapper ever. delivery, bars, creativity and performance is always great. the only thing he isn't known for are his rebuttals (Hollow is the best at it), but everything else is top notch.
