I think that it was pretty even, the battle. Both Coytez and Metta came hard, but I give this one to Metta 3-0. His bars were more creative and had punchlines for days, especially in the second round.

Coytez is overrated.

Of course you should value their opinion. They're actually involved in the game, so at the very least they would know what they are talking about. It's common sense.

You're free to disagree with them, but disregarding their opinion on for no reason is silly. you think I'm gonna take the opinion of a regular dude over a lawyer when it comes to law related stuff? Hell no.

its completely different though, apples and oranges. When youre a laywer you study law. When youre an athlete you dont study that sport. Youre mad talented and you have yes men on your diccck since a young age and you just focus on you, thats why you cant judge other players talent. Thats why if anything its usually the lesser players that know mroe of what they talking about cause they most likely did "study" the game, they were actual fans. The legends a lot of times werent fans of the game.

So a fans opinion on how to judge the sport, not participate in it, can actually be better or just as good.

Rap is a little different but then again rap is more subjective than sport so while the rapper might say, hey what the other person did took a long time to write or prepare, his opinion on the actual performance isnt any more valuable than a big fan, no homo, of rap

300 murders a year
gave that to metta slightly 2-1

was a great match though. disappointed in cortez, felt like he could have went crazier. had a ton of moments where i was paying attention to something else lol

metta did great, all the mexican joints were a bit overboard though imo, cant stand when a battle rapper comes in and beats what already been done to they opponent to the grave. but overall, that personal he put out there in the 2nd rd was new and he did have better bars overall than cortez.

let me rephrase, you dont study the history. Actually even current games, lets say youre Arod (even though Arod does seem like he is a fan but hes an easy example) he might know who the top players in the 80s were(when he was coming up), but was he necessarily paying so much attention that he could say whos better between two role players if on his off time he was doing other things besides watching baseball?

In the meantime: Cortez vs. Mettta
OTBVA Presents: Metta vs Cortez - YouTube

Metta sounds dope on this. Seemed like he changed his style a little, sounded like a poor man's version of JC, but still good stuff.

Metta did good I tend not to watch battles and judge so I'll just say its a close good battle

Why nikkas don't like cortez he had some shyt in this battle he had some shyt in the suge battle to if u don't like a nikka u ain't gotta see he lost just cause he rapped When that's all it is.
