I really can't tell what Serius writes because it all sounds the same. He's funny as hell though.
And Lux's approach seems to depending on his opponent. I think in order to beat him, you have to find a creative angle of approach. It's gonna be hard to out bar him. Big T might can hang bar wise (closest one in terms of cleverness, and Chilla but he too young in the game to get that shot), but not sure if his delivery will translate well.
Hollow obviously has the best chance. I also think a focused Verb and Yung Ill can compete too.

cal still not top tier to me. he earned a stripe in the fact with all the theatrics lux came with, many will say cal lost, but most will say it wasnt a bodybag. so in that sense cal earned a stripe
but he still not top tier, just not skilled enough. his strength is in his performance. so unless he kills a guy with all his animation and jokes, he will look mediocre. cause honestly he not saying nothing really re-playable.

Its all about consistency... how many body bags can he get like that miles battle? Because so far thats his only one

Cal is only top tier because he's popular. He got his one chance against Math and he "won" so Smack gave him a Mainevent in his hometown (When it should've went to X Factor, honestly) and that solidified it.

nah Clips is overated to me, he dope but not all that. I know what youre saying about consistency, but the Miles battle, its more about Lux than Miles. Lux was so great in that battle.
Agree with the clips part. I also agree that lux was great in that battle but personally I can't give him the #1 spot when a nikka like Hollow has proved himself time and time again. I'd like to see Lux Vs Hollow tho It would be the only interesting match-up for lux aside from maybe ill or verb.

honestly quite a few, attacking lux isn't a walk in park if you look at different ways you could possibly go at him, you can't go the personal route because lux ain't did sh!t, so remove the option of having dirt on him, you can't go the "real n!gga sh!t" route because lux has done some of the realest sh1t out there, he put a good portion of some of the more recognized url roster on to begin with, or at least gave them some much needed buzz before getting to the big leagues, there's no angle you can attack him with....the only options is to make sure your rebuttal game is A-1 and have some crazy bars in the stash....
if it ain't x-factor, or a focused young ill you could stick a fork in the rest of these n!ggas if you want to try and out bar him
as far as hollow the nikka only got 1 W on his resume that holds weight and that was against big t (no pun intended lol) , goodz is terrible so that's no real comp for him, and like i said him and hitman ain't care about that sh!t when they battled....both of them was @ss cheeks....that snippet of hitman's 1st round that smack put out before the battle dropped made it that much more disappointing when it actually came out
I would of normally said Yung Ill has a chance cause I think he is the best, but the way I seen him so ill-prepared vs Cortez, shyt left a bad taste....but he has everything Lux has bar wise and he has the comedy angle, cuz Lux dont do jokes....so Ill would have all the intricacies in wordplay, plus Ill would punchline Lux at most every 8 bars instead of 16 bars at times....then add the comedic bars....but like someone said, you really cant get personal with Lux, so that plan of attack wouldnt work, but I think Ill has everything in a battle rapper to beat Lux cuz he basically was a Lux clone early on til he got more comfortable with his style....the Verb vs Hollow also.....Verb bodied Hollow even tho most people found a way to give Hollow the 2nd round....Hollow is def the third contender that has a chance tho becuz he is the most versatile battle rapper maybe in battle rap history....but I think Lux lyrics/wordplay can make Hollow lyrics look amateurish....Hollow would have to delete "roasting session" from his repertoire, but his rebuttal game can change nikkas entire opinions on rounds if its on point....

yeah, I believe so too....I just need to see it.....he talking like he back on his shyt...I would love to see Ill vs Lux in a one-off Surf/Big T type of setting....on some real shyt tho....a nikka need to confiscate those Ill vs Con files tho, like seriously....I guess that shyt gon be on his Smack DVD he putting out

all imo have a shot to at worst make a classic with lux if they on they A game with a crowd thats not dikkridng and really rocking with whoever really saying that great shyt.
my problem with lux is he really dont have a great resume on cam. he got a debatable as hell battle with mook, he bodybagged miles, and imo he was just okay and clearly out rapped calicoe. but with the likes of guys like cal and miles lux is so good lyrically that even if they embarrassing him with personals and performance, lux fans can back door the opinions and always run to " he is better lyrically" as if we didnt already know that
i just want to see lux get in the rings with some killers. 1 thing i will credit clips for is he didnt just let that battle with verb go to his head. he jumped back in the ring with all they said could beat him. and imo he fell off a bit but vs serious he seemed to be getting to a space where we know what he brings to the table now. and now he has a resume we can fairly judge. lux just dont have that.
i want to see lux in that line of fire, see how he responds with that. cause verb, hollow, big t, surf, clips etc all have been in situations that challenged them. that is what makes you great to overcome that adversity. not outshine mediocre ass nikkas.
