Lol... What kind of logic is this??? If most people perform average in competitions they lose.
Exactly... Like nikkas will nitpick a HARD straight to the point bar that a bunch of hood nikkas SPAZZED to and be like "wow that's basic, they gassing" it's not the bars moreso than the FEELING from relating to that shyt.
Word. Like I remember the Rock/DNA battle and everyone was like that "Hope I shot a child" line was basic but the way he delivered it was so fukking COLD! It's not just about bars they don't get it. If it was bars then nikkas could just print out their rhymes on a sheet. You gotta delivery that shyt to where nikkas feel it
Real Deal said some real shyt on War Report he was like everybody always talking about "Bar this and Bar that" but the point of battle rap is for you to leave the battle looking at the opponent differently. You suppose to say some shyt that makes people go like "Damn, he really made son look bad up there"

Your comprehension skills are not very good. When the fukk did I say that makes DNA look bad? You took two separate theories and brought them together.
In the first half I'm clearly talking about delivery of lines being important to battle rap, which is where I referenced the Tay Roc line. Nowhere in that did I say that was an example of making your opponent look bad. I was giving it as an example of a great delivered line.
The second part I'm talking about is what the point of a rap battle is, to make your opponent look weaker. I never gave an example of this in the post above, but an example of that would be Math's third against Diz and T-Rex or Murda Mook's third against Loaded Lux.
For some strange reason you merged those two ideas together as one. How, I have no idea. There's a BUNCH of things that matter in a battle. I gave two different things that are important.
Ok I respect that, I still don't see anything special about he "delivered" that line. He said that the same way he said the "D-Nanny" shyt and that was ass as well. I guess what I'm not understanding is the infatuation wit Tay Roc's "delivery"
