He wouldn't have to fall back for nothing. He'd be coming off the biggest battle of his career. Win or lose, it's a good look. In the grand scheme of things, he's really just slowly climbing that ladder to be where a "top tier" is. I don't think it's part of his plan to "fall back" in case of a loss lol

I don't agree with Myers paying Rex (of all people) that much bread for a battle, however, it's a service to Rex as much as it is him. So they should both put on a good battle, for the fans if nothing else.

lol I don't rock with Danny like that, but he's not going anywhere. Danny isn't a flavor of the month battler, nor is he propped up by any particular league. He grinded it out, and gained a legion of hardcore fans. Danny's name is big enough to get whatever battles he wants. If his name doesn't get him a battle, he can afford to pay out of his own pocket.
Plus Danny does G shyt, he's looked out for a lot of battlers & battle league owners alike.
Where is all this integrity coming from (re: battlers losing respect)? It's not coming from the battlers. Many of these battlers love or have loved the sport of battling at one point, but the bigger names mostly care about money & views. The integrity isn't coming from the fans. We just want to see good battles, we watch bootlegs, streams, whatever, fukk it.
The 12k thing is just something funny to talk about. But if Rex tries, we should have something nice to watch, and that matters more.
