I remember seeing Tec9 for the first time on the old smack
Son came in the game mad original, had his own gully/funny slow flow.
NOBODY sounded like that nikka.
It took him a while but he was Mr. SummerMadness at one point.
Now we're in an era where all these new nikkas copy whatever's poppin to get on, shyt is sad B
Not to get preachy, but this is part of a bigger problem that Youtube/Facebook/Twitter/Vine etc have created. Trends are no longer allowed to grow in pockets organically. If you come up with one cool word, action, style and it can go viral. Now everyone is using your new lingo, new action, new style before you got a chance to add more stuff to complement it. Trend hopping is encouraged, on some "drink the milk before it expires" type of tip.
In this new era things like the "dunn language" wouldn't exist. People would just take one of the terms and run with it, then it would sound stupid for them to use that term on the next album. I'm guilty somewhat, if I like a slang term I'll use it, regardless of whether it's regional or not. That wasn't acceptable when I was a teenager though.
