There's a couple of things that hurt Verb in this battle.

1) His voice was hoarse. He said it in the bra interview before the battle even came out.
2) Lack of crowd reaction

I enjoyed his material though.

Maybe people are tired of him. It's sad that he whored himself out, because he has made it to where getting a battle with Verb doesn't mean much of anything. There's no way a guy like Verb should be battling guys like Todd & K-Shine. It's embarrassing.
