I always thought Mook was overrated as hell and left that battle impressed at what he did before I read a single comment or post about it...maybe it was just the weak competition and the crowd but I felt like he put on a good show and shut Solomon down...except the Trayvon Martin shyt was corny.
It always feels like people are trying to show they can write songs when they do shyt like that, I felt the same way with that Lux shyt to tell the truth, even though it was just dope enough to work

so I went to watch the Lux/Cal battle to cleanse my mind of that garbage ass battle and saw this top comment
I don't want to finish this shyt.
Iron has some decent material....but the flow is NOT WORKING
I mean WHAT THE fukk....this sing-song shyt ruined a lot of good bars/angles. That third round was actually pretty nicely constructed...maybe not for a battle or this event in particular, too many long concepts without haymakers...but it was def slept on Iron had too much flow while Mook had too little 
Honestly though....this battle isn't as bad as people have been saying it happened, imo. The crowd was tired, dead, biased, etc....and neither MC was really GREAT....but neither one was really that bad either. Underwhelming sure, but definitely not wack.
I'm still watching....IDK why....but the crowd is definitely the worst part of this battle.

The CROWD is the last aspect of a battle I analyze..Just block the crowd for an hour.
What you see is two MC's way past their battling primes..or as Pac would say, flabby and sick..Iron mumbling nonsense and using that horrible delivery of his to make things even worse..Mook spitting boring ass schemes and STORIES in stead of keeping the crowd interested with punchlines, fast metaphors and sharp flow.
They let the battle world down..shiit is embarrassing!!

I disagree. Neither was that bad.
And trying to perform in front of a crowd that had no interest in being there at that point in the night is impossible...there was no energy. The battle was too long, and it being as late as it was didn't help.
Also, Mook's actions during Solomon's last couple verses was straight ho shyt.
im so fukking high /..with that nikka's hat being tilted at that angle on camera during the first few seconds i thought that nikka had a high top fade
