i'm all for Chilla vs Roc. Roc vs Danny, not so much

I'm interested in seeing his battle with Rex, but not necessarily interested in watching his battle with Chilla.

For me, when Danny is on his 90s, westcoast reality rap shyt he's cool. I have no interest in seeing Danny Myers in a "pen" battle. When he's in those type of battles it just doesn't do anything for me.

Danny Myers needs to be battling the Suge's, T Tops, Rosenberg Raw, Calicoe, etc type of nyggas.

I'm not trying to see Danny Myers in anymore Writer's Bloque battles.

Yup, Danny is capable of flipping that switch. Those back to back punchlines become tiresome to me, but there are a few battles where he just went off on reality rap tangents and it was dope. He's also proved he's capable of being an a$$hole if he gets the right opponent.

For some reason with Danny, I believe he's deeper in the streets than most of these nikkas

Even when he talked that "I move Zones, that's the key/ki" shyt to Danja I believed every last one of his words for some reason.

The clips I saw him in barkin on Rex he didn't seem corny to me, like AT ALL. Son was dead serious that battle.
I saw his interview before that battle and he said it was personal for him.
and I had never seen him bark like THAT before in any other battle.

He says lines that don't even make sense and the crowd cheers. I didn't have a problem with Roc until the DNA battle. He's been getting away with shaky lines and reaches that other people would get booed for.

Danny has the ability to be relatable in a way that the other Writer's Bloque members can't. He has had material where nyggas will nod their head thinking "this is some real shyt."

He views himself as a "pen" guy which I equate to him believing he needs to put together complex material. I sort of hate that way of thinking, because you don't have to be complex to be nice.

Thats every battler literally. Delivery plays a big part in it, a lot of the most garbage comes from the loud aggessive types but the one delivering the line really believed in it lol

You still have to deliver good lines. When "scotch free" gets a Don Demarco something's wrong.

Me enjoying what Suge & Roc are doing right now has nothing to do with my opinion on Danny. I've always felt that Danny was way more effective doing reality rap as opposed to trying to bar a nygga. I just haven't expressed this until recently.

Hell with the way he delivers his material it makes more sense for him to do street battles. He really lacks the sort of poise required to be an effective "pen" guy.

If anything, YOU are the bias one, because you refuse to point out any flaws when it comes to someone you like. I don't think there's a Myers battle where you didn't like his performance.

Danja was doing way too much. The way he performed in the Lotta battle is perfect. He was poised, confident, & in control, which I believe is the most effective way to perform in the lane he's in.
