It's so many battles. As we all know, with Ars it's not so much the specific lines, but the timing, aggression, projection, performance and delivery that gets the crowd in a frenzy. JC will outwrite and outpoint Ars every day of the week but that's not all it takes to win a battle.

If you want to argue that roomshakers are specific lines then that's fine. But Ars can get the crowd hype pretty easily.

I was about to reply saying that JC, in the DF/KOTD/Overseas environments will probably have a lot of rooms hype with bars alone, and you said it there. I have to agree that Ars can shake the room then keep them hype somehow... and with not even half the bars of a JC type. I think it's delivery with Ars. His voice can get annoying, but sometimes he's just barking on dudes and it's hard not to get caught up.

I've generally been tired of Ars and his bullshyt at battles, but I want this to be a good one.. Mostly for the sake of getting JC back into every conversation. Only problem is, even if JC shows up and shows out, who the fukk is there left for him to battle?

Big Kannon can beat anyone in the world, but he is inconsistent and needs someone to tell him what to throw away and what to keep. Also he lacks a killer instinct.

JC lacks humor, stage performance and doesn't have room shakers.
He could very easily lose to Arsonal because Ars has all of the above.

For JC to get in the conversation and stay in it, he needs to take the following battles in the order I put them in

Dot, The Saga or Steams for his return to URL

DNA or Big T on URL

Aye Verb, Bigg K, T-Rex, Head Ice or Ill Will wherever. Battle 2 outta the 5.

Chess on URL. He might get offered Chess FIRST, but if he does that only means he's getting lined up.

And his ultimate goal should be to battle Tsu Surf. Not because Surf is the best, but because Surf is a huge name who no one thinks JC can beat on a big stage. Plus Surf shyts on JC constantly, if JC gets his name back up Surf would look bad turning him down.

How is Big Kannon inconsistent? Nikka has classics back to back to back

He's having debatables or getting edged where he should have clear wins. Every Kannon battle you can point out a good half round (at least) of material that is kinda flat in comparison to the rest of his stuff. If he were to give you three rounds of the same quality like say Bigg K, plus rebuttals, how many people could really beat him?
He has a good pen, he has good projection and a distinct voice, he has haymakers, he has decent stage presence & insane freestyle ability. He's more talented than Charlie Clips, he's just not nearly as cool.

Edit - maybe inconsistent isn't the right word, but I don't think he's fulfilling his potential. He should be trying to embarrass his opponent all three rounds.

It's ill to look back and to see a then unknown ARP in the background of all these damn events. He has really studied the game, unfortunately he still has work to do presentation wise.
