Both. I,mean pure lyricism I guess jc better then magic and Danja. But jc such a Cornball. 95 percent of his bars sounds like he reading a dictionary.
I can't recall a battle where he really just attacking a nikka. Jc is a amazing rapper. He's a horrible battler
Its these WB vs WB battles. They're battling the homie they spar with all the time so they dont have that demeanor to win.
Kannon legit pissed me off doing all this freestyling. Knowing damn well when he had to rep for his city vs O Red he came dead serious. Now he's smiling and trying to show he's nice with the freestyle.
It's like when you're playing your boy 1-on-1 or something and you start trying dribbles you know damn well you wouldn't do if you were playing someone you never met before because who cares if you lose? Dude respects you either way. Same thing these crew battles are starting to feel like.
Note: I didn't watch Danny/Chilla yet as I'm writing this.

Naw this was before WB was even a thing.
When JC first came out he destroyed everyone because he was just that much better lyrically. When he finally start to get some comp that's even half as nice as he is lyrically he started to get washed cause those opponents do EVERYTHING else better then JC by miles.

All of these battles weren't even close. Obviously the JC Chilla battle is the exception. JC to this day hasn't come anywhere close to that battle .
But I do agree about the WB battles .Both JC vs Myers and JC vs Danja been snoozefests.
But Danja vs Myers and Magic vs Trez were both great. So again I believe it's just JC lol cause I'm hearing JC vs Kannon was another snoozefest(I haven't seen it yet)

JC blacked in that Kannon battle... I agree that the audio is trash tho. There's some parts where you can't hear exactly what the battler is saying. The first part of Danny's first vs Chill is hard to make out.
