Over the last 6 years ive ben paying close attention to url mainstage battles and yet i have notices a pattern
And this pattern has ben happening for the last 5 years and it all stared with tech 9
Tech9 was the first signe of death to the culture. ..no disrew to tech but yet texh made it cool for performance to win in rap battles
At one point in time tech 9 was the king of battle rap...he even walked around with a url wwe wrestling belt
during techs reign of rap terror is when i seen the shift in url and urls rappers
I seen hitman holla go from
Bars like ."under neck like a violin"
To ..a full alll performace remix with showout as the back up remixer
Hitman slowly went away from the punchline hitman to the all performance hitman and this is why he became the most views battle rapper in url ...
The url crowd started to feel performance over bars and yet this led to the seperation of technical rapping rappers or lyricsl rapper and performance rappers
All the lyrical rappers got pushed down in a hole ..and labled as pgs
Or even got kicked completely off the url stage
And the people with more porfomance like calico /hit man...ect over shadowed rappers like chilla jones or ored
Beasly and smack and chiko noticed that performance sould more tickets then bars
And just like the rap was in control of the direction of the biggest platform in battle rap
This created mega events such as nome and sm
Nom and sm was a combo event of bars and performance rappers but slowly the headlines became all performance rappers
Mainly due to the staff knowing they would sale more tickets
Url big stages slowing became a place where technical rapping or exstreme lyrical ability was no longer wanted
The fans fell in love with fast food bars
And there came the don dmarco
De don dmarco drop helped with the lack of creativity because rappers stop extreme rapping and started writing just to get a don dmarco
This is created the extreme 2-4-6-8- bar punch format ...
Alll the top rappers picked up this format for url with the exception that knowing every 8th bar they would get a auto d damrco if rhe 2-4-6 lead up was coo ending with a fire 8th bar punch
We now call this the "dna" effect
Why because dna was a prime example of the 2-4-6-8 theory.
But dna only started this method because it was very effective while d damrco was on stage
Now this is where the technical vs performance rapper set in
Dna vs dna
("Dna vs illl")Vs( dna vs tayrock)
The dna from the illwill battle was 2-4-6-8 dna and the dna from the rock battle rap a more lyrical ps the dna i actually loved skilled wize
Day after day i wach dna vs tay rock and i say dam. This is by far the best dna i ever seen skill wize
And yet url hates this . Wtf is going on ?
At this moment is when i first talked to lux about this and we had the big debate on his return vs calico
I said yo loaded u know url aint the same as smack
Its almost like url is the new rap game ..they love chief keef over nas
Ps later on url added the chief keef song to the url trailers ..das that shyt I dont like ..bang bang

This os why lux did a max amount of technical rapping in round 1 just to show the world he can still do it but not to ps
If u watch the crowd in lux first vers
They looked like they seen a ufo
None of the new url
Crowds ears was program for that type of fine tuned skilled so yet they just stayed in amaze untill lux choked...and yet they was so amazes they forgot to boo....its like when u see a ufo and yet u lookn at it so hard u forget to pull out your. Camera

Lux upped the performance level to power levels over 90000
We soon seen a shift in url
Rappers like hitman and calico was no longer the show ...url fans wanted a broadway theme

Turn up the gass on the next nikka that was simi rappping
Aka tay rock
Rock gass went from $2,56 to 125 bucks a gallon
This led to a new type of gass called a reach
After tay rocks d nanny bar reeching became a dope thing
This led to a new race of humans called the dotainians ..
Who lived on a planet called dotonia
Wich was soon to be doomed so they sent rhe last living child to the planet earth
His name was dot

Dot became a god
To the earth style rappers
Dot was able to exceed and bend the human language in ways that was beyond human
Nature
......dot was the reincarnate tech9 but whith a new skill that was impossible to beat or get old
Dot created the ability to rap and not even make sens what so ever but yet it was still the best thing u ever herd
