Both turned it up each time now. First Roc with a hot 1st. Then Cal with his I'm Back 1st that you know was building up in him for a while. And now Roc is back spazzing again!

Alright y'all know I fukk with Clips but he did a few things in the batte last night that hurt him a lot

One of them was trying to revive the shang tsung scheme. Like breh, that sh1t was a haymaker at NOME, leave it alone. When a battler takes a scheme they already did and reboots it, it almost never sounds hot. Clips thought the crowd would be fukkin with that but they weren't. It wasn't dope.

Another thing, he's up there talking about Aye Verb, and talking about Lux's man. Breh rap about your opponent. Name dropping Verb, who has nothing to do with anything comes off like "that guy" at a business meeting who has to randomly throw in that they hang out with such and such or talk to this person. Rap about Lux breh, not Verb wanting to go after Lux

Also, the grinning and the remarks during lux rounds just isn't cool and makes clips look nervous. Clips gotta be up there in his bag and focused. Not trying to be cute with the crowd and looking affected.

Last, his rebuttal attempt in the third sucked and he did fall into lux trap. It sucked. Like another dude said, live by the rebuttal die by the rebuttal. Well clips died by the rebuttal. And he kept tryng to land a rebuttal with the crowd, clips spent like over a minute on it, rephrasing sh1t that worked in the rex battle. But it didn't work last night.

Sucks cuz I wanted Clips to win in the worst way. I'll say Lux really wasn't that dope to me last night. Yea he can rhyme his ass off but he's not the total package in battle rap. Not even close. He shouldn't be the $40,000 man. His sh1t doesn't hit on the big stage any more. He's the perfect Lionz Den and/or medium sized room type battle rapper. At irving plaza he gets swallowed up by the atmosphere. there's not enough bass in his voice and his lyrics (whether or not they're dope) are too convoluted to connect with a crowd of tired stoned hungry URL fans.

Clips is certainly not on Lux level lyrically. But he really plays to the crowd, projects his voice and sounds dope rapping. Said it before, Clips has an Ice Cube type swag. He just sounds hard when he's spitting aggressively. Dude could rap the phonebook and sound hot. It works. That's what the crowd wants and why Clips is a fan favorite. He just fell apart last night though. Shame because he was completely in his bag for the first round. But Lux kept jabbing enough to throw him off.

When did I ever defend Ars bullshyt? If you read my post I clearly said Ars crossed the line many times. And don't quote me unless you know my views. I have always said there should be a line. I just got on T Top for using pedophile bars against Suge.

I don't know how/where some of you grew up, but a white dude saying that type of shyt around the wrong group of Black people, is going to get fukked up very badly. As far as the event overall I would say it was run pretty smoothly they got in a battle per hour about except for all the bs in clips / Lux which was more lux IMO but clips a little too but props to URL I didn't think they would get 7 battles in but the venue wasn't booked for anything else also so it wasn't like 8 everyone has to leave but the crowd was on some typical bs especially during official/hustle

Wavy vs Jon Jon I had Jon Jon 3-0, wavy was ok first two but Jon Jon cooked and third wasn't close

Big t vs suge was dope I had suge 2-1 but it could be big t 2-1 on cam the first two rounds very debatable big t was back in his bag vintage big t , the third he got booed a little but I think he just had some movie reference the crowd didn't catch he wasn't bad but suge had a god third some closing haymakers

Ok the female battle I had the biggest issue with this shyt was beyond biased I've never seen a crowd that biased heckling official not reacting to IMO dope shyt from official but cheering simple shyt from hustle and also hustle got that goodz delayed reaction from the crowd on basic ass bars like they forcing themselves to like it I had official 1st and 3rd and I don't care if nikkaz think I'm bugging and through the battle there was an area of the crowd dikkriding everything from hustle and heckling official saying " you talked a lot of shyt on fb" they ruined the battle it wasn't present in any other battle I wouldn't be surprised if it was setup

Top 3-0 Rex IMO, Rex was a little better than usual but I thought top mixed the drug shyt with some more direct shyt, best big stage top

The 2 on 2 was dope to me though of course they had to do the gimmick of the mime in the 3rd I was laughing at the ridiculousness of it , I have to see it again but I might edge the cakes

Roc vs cal depends on the second , I got cal taking the first felt roc was light and I liked the angle roc took in the 3rd it showed improvement , gotta rewatch the second

I had clips 2-1 over lux I felt like lux went on and on to nowhere in the 3rd I honestly don't give a fukk about clips pops and the shyt was reminiscint of Diz with the PayPal shyt to me, crowd boos clips a few bars into smthg but lux rambles with no punch for three minutes and crowd lets him rock shyt is crazy, lux always gotta come in on some wrestling entrance I don't know people don't see he's the same as daylyt just day is over the top so people know it's a gimmick , Lux was better than vs mook but nowhere hear vs hollow IMO, clips wasn't crazy but I liked his shyt better so clips 2-1
