What is Clips/Lux relationship like? I always assumed they where cool.

There was a fan that called into AFR saying that when he was at SM5, he got the impression that they really did not like each other at all.

It wouldn't be surprising. We've all seen nyggas that are cool & cordial, but lowkey not care for each other like that. There's just never been a reason to openly display their dislike for each other.

I didn't look at it like that though.

I thought Clips was just trying to be strategic & take Lux off his game. It's like a boxer vs a brawler. The brawler does everything necessary to turn it into a dirty fight to give himself the best possible chance of winning.

However, I could be wrong.

Clips has a bigger buzz than Lux does right now, and Lux gets paid more. Lux thinks Clips is lazy and overrated, Clips thinks Lux is a diva. That alone will make them wanna go for jugular

He did all that lying about his name ringing off only to admit in the Lux battle that he wasn't outside like that when all those other dudes were going at it. Serius was the first one to get at him about that in their battle. Serius was basically saying him & Charlie are the same age and Charlie just started popping in this era.

you could say clips demeanor in those 2 battles (rex, lux) is the most serious he's ever been

you could say he was serious in the verb/xfactor battles too, but it's different. Must have been a harlem thing

I don't really understand why anyone would believe Lux would be intimidated to battle somewhere else.

Lux has a better chance of getting booed in NY than he does STL or anywhere. STL fans don't conduct themselves like NY fans do.

Lux gets respect, but even then, it wouldn't surprise me if that NY crowd booed him. His lyrical style, plus being the last battle of the night, trying to rap to some drunk fans that have been standing all day?

You got to be the dumbest motherfukker on the planet. You do realize you don't HAVE to watch ANY of these dudes you bytch about all of the time battle, right? For example, I don't like Lotta Zay... I don't wish Lotta Zay quits, I don't hope somebody puts a bullet in his dome, I just (gasp!) don't click the links to battles with "Lotta Zay" in the title. Try it sometime dummy.

It just shows you, you can put damn near any battle rapper (except Todd) in an entertaining battle if it's the right match up. Individually, his opponents don't do much for me. However, when you look at the past history & the styles they have, these are all great battles.

QP vs 100 Bulletz was a nerd classic. I felt like doing math problems after that battle. Battle should have took place at a Star trek convention. That nerd motivation. May watch that battle tomorrow & proceed to go to the library, grinding, reading page after page, gaining knowledge.
