explain why Clips acted like a bytch vs. magic too then, magic wasnt around long enough to have a legit beef wit clips like lux
whenever clips feels legitimately threatened he turns into a straight female, that battle was during magics' s streak, charlie didnt wanna be a casualty, didnt this nikka TELL don demarco not to sound the horn for magic's shyt during the battle?
Clips obviously saw Magic as a threat, but it was still different from the Lux battle.
There's no point in the Magic battle did you get the feeling they didn't like each other. Clips talked throughout his rounds & was trying to create a friendly vibe.

The "Chilla hat" line is funny to me, because it's one of the few lines that Clips said that would require a tiny bit of thinking. Notice how the crowd barely reacted to it. But they went crazy over all his pop culture bars.

Refresh my memory y'all, I know he clearly killed them, but I honestly can't quote any dope/complex lyrics in those battles. I remember the third vs. Rex which was dope as fukk but not full of dope bars and the Big T line against Surf which also wasn't a crazy nice/complex bar. Not saying Clips never had good bars/punchlines, just none that were over the head like that.
Edit: The Jenga line against Rex was STUPID hard. I forgot about that.
Nah I'm wildin, Clips did bug out in the first against Rex. I remember more lines now. I can't front. They weren't lyrically impressive like that but they hit hard.
not really over the head lines but some really hard hitting punches like the jenga line, the took cold of ur chess/vicks line and couple others i can remember atm.
