The one thing I hate about when ghostwriting comes up is people cant fathom the idea of rapper a writing for rapper b when we have nyggas on this very board that can imitate these battle rappers. It is not hard to imitate a lot of these nyggas & think of something they would say.

However, I will admit most ghostwriters dont even bother to write like the emcee they are ghostwriting for, which is why its always obvious if you got the ear for it.

I'm just speaking in general. I'm not really famaliar with Boom's material to really be able to pinpoint if he has wrote for surf.

Critiquing is when writer already has the battle written and completed, and an editor comes in and fixes the grammar, fixes the references, etc.

Ghostwriting is when you hire someone to write a whole battle or round for you and you just perform it.

I doubt Red would say anything. Surf said during the interview not only did they go to high school together, but they have known each other damn near their whole life. O-Red isn't really an attention whore either. How many interviews does O-Red really do? Does O-Red even care? He rarely battles anymore.

Danny is coming off like a 10 year old that is disappointed their favorite rapper gets help. You can only get so far doing everything by yourself. At some point you max out what you can do creatively. That's why being influenced by others, bouncing around ideas, hanging around people that are better than you, etc is actually important to becoming better in whatever field you choose.
