Dope post & a very realistic card if you've been following the URL.

If this card turns out to be true it's a dope card. It's undeniable. All the battles just makes sense with the exception of Clips/Cal. However, even that is a battle the URL has been wanting to do for some time now.

I remember QP (Quatum Physics) on angryfanradio saying he understood why Verb pulled out of the Qleen battle, because he had Surf & Lux coming up. I figured it was true, because QP is the type of nygga that can't keep shyt to himself & most of it is true. He's like the most honest, self aware, functioning, drug addict of all time.

This is my opinion of Con/Roc. Roc deserves that look imo. Plus it's better than a Todd battle. Not the most enthusiastic about the battle, but if Con can at least bring one round like he did against Bmagic in his first, I'm cool with it. Con is wild n out & deserves to be on the card anyway.

That's a really great card.

They can save Mook/Hollow for later on in 2016. Surf/Ars are both more entertaining opponents
for them.

Big Suge getting that type of look is dope. He can fukk around & have the performance of the night.

I'm telling yall nygga Suge's style is GREAT for a large stage.

Even with most top tiers, they are shaky on that stage at times. Not a natural environment for a battle rap to take place. Some guys make it work though & once Suge got going,

Also, if this card takes place, I hope nyggas here don't shyt on the URL if the battles don't meet their expectations.

As long as the URL gives a great build up & provides excellent audio/video, it's a success in my mind. They can't control the emcees.

SM2 was a great event & it isn't like every single battle was a classic. It was the build up, the camera work, etc.

I cant get excited about big money being behind battle rap anymore. For some reason when its big money involved its over produced or it has bad camera/audio and most of the battles are 1 and done watches.

This is true and I like Mook but I don't think he's just gonna run over Surf.

Even tho he killed Lux he had A LOT of worthy lines while doing so. But it didn't matter since Lux was so ass in that battle.

In fairness Mook is a angle heavy Rapper so that Ghostwriting Bullshyt, whether it's true or not is gonna get him a round. I just don't see him WASHING Surf.

Cal washed Surf and Clips washed Surf too. Surf losing clearly isn't a new phenomenon

I'm kind of at the point where I don't think it's actually possibly for a URL card to live up to the hype it generates. The hype machine alone is eons ahead of what the battlers are capable of, barring a "starts align" type of moment where 75% of the rappers are on their A-game AND the crowd acts half decent.

And I'm not disparaging the hype machine... it's actually rather impressive how well they've gotten at building their events up and making everyone feel like they have to be there or see the battle on ppv, even if it's ONE day early.


...but with such incredible marketing, you can't blame anyone for being disappointed when a battle falls flat. I've stopped blaming URL and their matchup habits (because they are what they are, and they've arguably gotten better), but I'm getting deeply irritated with the live fans. I know we've been over it, but those fans change the pace of shyt on a way too regular basis.. and I keep that opinion even when my preferred battler wins (ie Chilla/Prep).

You can't really have a card like this without Clips.

In fact, the only one I'm skeptical about being on the card is Suge. Compared to the other names on the card, Suge sticks out like a soar thumb.

The Hitman/Suge battle makes so much sense that I hope it's on the card. Hitman is also the type of guy who won't just battle anybody unless it makes sense.

You remember the rumors about Hitman/K-Shine right? This was all because K-Shine is more popular.

Hopefully Suge has a monster performance on cam on this big t battle.

DNA not being on the card makes the card suspect as well. Fortunately he's battled damn near everyone anyway.

Let's talk about the business decision of Gjonaj. I was thinking about what business move he should of took.

Gjonaj was a KOTD/CAC's wet dream. One pg battle & he's out here dictating battles saying he had a choice between Born & Danja Zone. He was in a really good position to pick & choose battles. As his popularity rises, so does his paydays. He could of kept milking these paydays in these mid size room battles & dissing Diz during battles to make it into a big battle down the line.

However,

Gjonaj accepting the Diz battle was the ultimate gamble. A battle where there was always gonna be a clear winner due to the similar style of the battlers. If he would have won though, he would have been KOTD's man. I can only imagine the type of push he would have got. I don't think yall understand the type of love CAC's was giving this guy.

I really feel URL was never a real option. Yeah he got love in a small room, but I can't see the URL crowd fukking with him like that.

Can't see Hollow vs Arsonal rematch happening on URL since URL isn't really fukkin with either of them at the moment. Hollow even said it on his IG recently

Much respect to Fresh but nah we ain't seeing all these battles on one card
