If it's fake Rex is doing a good job of looking like Shine's actions are making him really comfortable. Rex looks like his puppy died.
Seems like if Shine straight up told him that he doesn't like being perceived as Rex's little man, Rex wouldn't be as bothered.

He just had to be more specific to force a clear answer. When you talk about how did you get to breaking the bank, you're going to get a Lux type of answer. When you get specific about the path to being the most paid battler, the course for the conversation is clear. You talk about the Calicoe battle before and after and you speculate to get some kind of straight answer and be specific to force some kind of specificity out of Lux. You might not get the answer you want, but it would come across even more like Lux is dodging and not really answering the question.
Breh, you're dealing with Queenzflip, not Walter Cronkite.

:patrice:
Trex barking at k shine something serious.. Feels like a bit of hate, mixed with love, topped with jealously... But really feels like they setting up that battle and a hit man verb payday :jbhmm:

LOL, there was literally NO signs of hate or jealousy in anything he said though.

ILL WILL
BIG KANNON
Rum Nitty
Cortez
I would list Will and Kannon def.
Assuming you're talking about Nitty's Blackstar battle? I thought his first was a complete reachfest.
I don't know if I ever think of Top as have great rounds. Not saying they are bad, just solid B/B+ rounds. He might be hindered by voice though, been trying to work with that, because his actual pacing and delivery is veteran level
I'ma rewatch Tez/Brixx
I actually think I can agree with Boom.. lol
Really breh? :comeon: Hollow is the alleged GOAT on this site, why can't we expected that from him of all people?

But as far as your question goes if you're just saying someone coming with three very good rounds in one battle this year we've seen it from a few guys - JC, Lux, Chilla, Suge, I wanna say Tay Roc, K Shine, Day vs. Solomon. Mind you, I'm not asking for GREAT or classic shyt, just three good or very good consistent rounds. Hollow either can't or just won't give us that, but seeing as he doesn't need to to be considered the best I guess he has no reason to. Hell we even got three good rounds from The Other Da Don.

:whoa:

Question wasn't meant to poke holes in a point, but it legit made me think about how rare it is that a battler delivers three great rounds. Even if dudes come totally prepped, there's often 1 round that just doesn't work that well. Example, Chilla/Prep.. His first round wasn't that big a deal to me.. just very gassed. The rest of the battle is obviously in the book. Lux/Clips? I got bored at some point in Lux's rounds. Sug/T was a good battle, but T had a terrible 3rd.. and Sug had a good complete performance, but I wouldn't say every round was legit great.

Not complaining since obviously some stuff just doesn't deliver they way it did at home in the mirror.. but it makes me respect those consistent great performances even more.

:patrice: Maybe this is lowkey why everyone is quick to call battles classic now.

Nah, I was referring to Suge vs. Saga, I don't think his three against Big T were all very good.

And, yeah, people THIRST for classics, that's why everything is called a classic. But that's not battle rap, that's hip-hop overall. Any time a Future mixtape or a Young Thug album comes out somebody is talking about "classic". :childplease:

As far as three GREAT rounds, it almost never happens, I was only talking about good or very good rounds. And it's even rarer for BOTH rappers to give you three great rounds, which makes for a classic. To me, the last three great rounds from each battler I consider is the Lux/Hollow battle, which is why even though I'll argue people to the death that Lux was the winner, I won't ever actually criticize Hollow harshly for that one, I think that's the best either one of them ever came, and my personal preference is always (usually, lol) going to be for the bar guy.

JC the first nikka that comes to mind when i think of battlers delivering 3 dope rounds, and he does it more consistently than anyone else imo

I always thought Cor was a pretty good lyricist. But he has one of the worst deliveries and voices in battle rap, which I why I can't mess with the beaner. Just seen his battle with Swiss Roll or whatever the hell. Tez killed him. Badly. That wetback got some amazing wordplay. But he sounds like he doesn't believe his pen. Like "okay I'm going to deliver this a little shaky because I don't think I'm that good". fukking immigrant.
