He seems the most enthusiastic about Goodz though. It's like he really WANTS this battle.

I said some pages ago, that it's only so many big heavy weight match ups out there for lux, and if he wants to keep getting that 40k check, he will probably have to create some enemies. Thing with goodz is, goodz can sell the fight although we all know goodz has no shot here. Lux will be taking more guys like that. He more than likely sitting back praying verb beats surf badly because he knows that could be a 60k pay day and verb would sell the hell out the fight. And daylyt dumb ass would pay half lux salary and lux know that. So if daylyt want to pay lux 40k to sit on a stage and take a shyt, lux will front like it's bad for battle rap, but inside he smiling cause he get paid and can bullshyt that battle cause daylyt will decide to take that time to dress like a fool and troll.

and I no doubt see the Roc behaves in a respectful, professional manner (in terms of battlerap). His preparation is obvious, he handles himself exceptionally well in a culture of chatty nikkas, and he leaves it all on the stage.

The bars and performance just don't get me hyped up. The performance often feels forced and awkward, and the bars are generic and unclever. There are rounds here and there like his first against Brizz that make me understand how he's great for the room. But on cam (for me), it just doesn't work. It's suprising to me how little he gets boo'ed. I'm not really a fan of the crowds doing that shyt, but I absolutely feel like they've turned on "favorites" in a millisecond and boo'ed them for overperformed/bad bars, where as Roc has built some rep with the fans, where they'll give him a quiet room to get back on track.

I guess I'll never be able to give anyone a whole lot of extra points for coming with three rounds. Seems like that's part of the deal

He can be in my top 5 for work ethic and consistency.. but not for actual battling.

They got a whole year to build it up & create hype behind it.

I think it could turn out to be a surprisingly entertaining battle. No way in hell does Goodz win though. While I do agree with him that you have to talk to Lux, he's not the guy to do it. Lux also isn't really a Danja Zone/KG type that you can just get up on stage with a cup & outswag them with presence.
