MJ Truths post got me thinking. Battle rappers whose fans won't let them lose. There's a handful. Clips, Day (he rarely looses, but whateves. That's another topic), Roc, Hollow, are there more. And why is this?? Why do these guys have these die hard fanbases??? Day and Hollow I can understand. Both of them really connect with the fans in one way or another. Or could it be another reason. I guess I understand Clips fanbase too. He's like that one fat nikka in high school who was cool with everybody and could roast the shyt out of anyone. But yea. That's what I think. But what about Tay Roc (and other battlers)? What is it about him that make fans ride for him so hard?

How can you make a critical post about stanbases and then say this shyt straight faced? You're telling me Daylyt connects with his fans, when he disappoints said fans with a non-effort, non funny antic something like 30-40% of the time? That's not connecting with fans on any level. I used to be a Day fan. That shyt was a constant disappointment.

I might have it twisted up, but I always thought the general consensus of Day's fans liked him for the rapping... Something you can't count on him to do. He's as flaky as all the other flake nikkas at this point. I hope it improves, but I don't think it will.

I'm insulting Lux by suggesting he should just make the biggest battles possible that will give him the best look.

All the battles that make sense for him stylistically have lost steam.

He tried to create hype for a battle with Goodz, but I doubt the URL would pay for that battle.

The thing about it is trying to make the biggest battle possible may just make the most sense right now.
