Essential The Official Battle Rap Random Thoughts Thread (URL, KOTD, UW etc...)

There are THREE (technically FOUR) battles that involve DNA that I'm waiting for to drop.

DNA v Syahboy
DNA v Brizz
DNA/Shine v Math/Cortez

Then there's Shine v Ill Will where apparently DNA jumped in and got busy. I guess I can find the bootleg, but I don't want to put effort into that.

Then he's doing another battle this weekend vs Danja Zone that I hope drops on youtube relatively soon.

If you would have told me in 2015 that I'd be waiting to see multiple DNA battles, I'd have laughed in your face. Lord help us all.

He's pretty close with Vague, who is one of the co-owners. Tay Roc is also on the card, so that is more incentive to put on. I think he will come with it.

Suge battled Top, OOOPs, Saga and T. That's just not enough comp.

Bigg K was hurt by his shytty comp in 2015 as well (Ars, Math, Caustic, Will, Kannon and some clown named Full Effects.) Those are decent names but a lot of the battles turned out shytty. I have Math Caustic and Kannon as L's for K as well.

Math lost so bad that he had a fukkin temper tantrum on stage and started making real life death threats

Roc took the best caliber of battle rappers this entire year. And hasn't clearly lost any of them. And the nerve of you saying Brizz beat roc

3 Top tiers and a rookie. Debatable with surf with the win being in Roc's favor. Debatable with JJDD with the win being in JJDD favor(who is also on my top 10 list). And he flat out beat Cal and Brizz.


No one else on that list has any where near the level of talent of their 2015 resume as Roc does. AND HE DOESNT HAVE A SINGLE CLEAR LOSS. And this all of this was on the biggest platform of battle rap. How can u not have Roc number 1?

Chilla had worse comp in 2015 and much shyttier performances then Bigg K yet you rate him higher??

im not comfortable callin any one person BOTY top tiers who have battles(wins?) against big names with tons of cringeworthy lines and ZERO replayability

or consistent mid tiers who take L's here and there against questionable names
