If dude knew how to throw a punch he wouldn't have broken his hand.. :jbhmm:

Guess we'll see if Debo will give Rex that Hoffa treatment after that statement :sas1:
We've all seen what happened to Louis the 13th the last time :sas2:

I just don't see Debo doing anything to Rex.

1. He's a league owner, if he fought a battle rapper then his credibility as an owner would be damaged.
2. Dot Mobb is deep to every NYC event where Rex is on the card, and Rex get all his nyggas in.

Debo thinks he's a one man army... what is he gonna have the bytches fighting on his behalf? lol that will end badly for him.
And why does T-Rex's name get thrown into the Math thing? Has it ever been confirmed that he was there when Math got into it with Mook & Tone Trump? Mook & Rex don't roll together THAT much.

I don't really know much about the Luey guy, so whatever happens with him :yeshrug:

when footage of QB whooping other bytches ass is more anticipated then actual battles you might want to re-evaluate some life decisions :francis:

I'm starting to re-evaluate my stance on violence in battle rap. There are times when it happens outside of a venue and it helps the culture. Tension has always been apart of battling as I know it. And these battles aren't judged, so the tension gives the battles a different atmosphere. Plus it gives the battlers more to talk about. I also don't like the idea that "Since it's a battle, I can say anything to my opponent". Nah, if you're a coward in real life, you could get your card pulled later on down the line for some of the stuff you said.

When the violence happens inside the venues the results are usually disastrous. But I can't honestly get on a "no violence in battle rap" soapbox anymore. The problem is, there's no way to contain that dynamic.

The first couple years of Smack battles were more intense, because the tension was still there.

It's time for url to snatch all the top women away from qotr.

I seen some Beasley interview where he said he wish he would have thought of the idea.:steviej:

Debo is not controlling these bytches. He's not controlling them with money, sex, or false promises to make them a star. The man is a joke.

I hope Rex smacks the shyt out of Debo.

Fake or not I'm  at these basketball references LOL

Both guys just came off of weak performances.
It looks like Mook & Surf might be on hold indefinitely.
It looks like Hitman & Suge is off the table.

Right now I think these guys are hyping this shyt for the bag. With enough hype they should be able to get some sucker to overpay for this match.

It's pretty simple though and you pretty much said it. Keep pulse (blogs, video, interviews) of the violence but keep the violence out of the venue. It might rub a lot of people wrong to say this, but I expect adults to have enough composure to eliminate the violence option at the door. Not a conditional "as long as he/she doesn't say xyz" type of thing either. Just drop the entire possibility off at the door like coat check.

About every one of these nikkas take special pride in their street habits and how they handle situations without being caught. Shouldn't be hard at all to not throw hands when 2-5 cameras are rolling.

Seeing that short clip of QOTR was embarrassing to me, knowing that damn near everyone in there was 30+. It's life, I know shyt can bubble over once in a while.. but that shyt.. nah. Looked like a highschool playground situation where everyone just wanted to let some steam off.
