Yup. And lol at Chilla signing his life away. First battle back was 7/25/15. Let's just say he is completely dedicated to Smack URL in 2016. Think about how much bigger his name will be at the top of 2017. We see what URL did for Tay Roc, we see what they did for Suge. Chilla is just as hungry as they are, and really has proven himself more than they did when they started getting that push. The only things left for Chilla are to kill that URL mainstage and establish himself as a ticket seller. Chilla changed the game, but he can't cash in on it until he proves himself on the biggest stage. Then he will start getting the celebrity cosigns, the pay raise, shyt he may be in a position to call Lux out by 2017 if he plays his cards right.
Hitman does not have a real business plan.

That said, what's everyone's overall feeling on whether Chilla can achieve this? I love watching and rewatching Chilla's good battles, but I can't for a second front that I don't feel nikkas who say he has a dry/boring delivery. He's gotten considerably better, but I still feel that slight drag during his rounds. I'm not expecting everyone to be fast-paced like Shine or setup-punchline like

, but I think this can be the reason Chilla hits a ceiling before becoming a legit headliner. Other hand, I can see him as being that dude who is on most of the big cards and gets great matchups every time.

Fans are being deprived of good battles. Assuming hitman's league has good production values, and given the supposed budget, they probably will.

Agreed. From a fans prespective I would love to see Verb vs Chilla and Hitman vs Suge. Both wont be booked on URL anytime soon. But im realistic enough to know URL doesnt conduct business for fans. If they did we wouldnt have DNA (amongst others) on every major card the last 5 years.

True. And blocking battles with that intention to me is where battle rap isn't like the NBA. Pretty sure if the NBA saw some funny shyt going down like this, they would have conferences and regulate the shyt. Muthafukkas would have their committees and etc. having hearings. Hell, they'd have a manual of code of conduct and how you go about business dealings. Instead, its a lot of words, money getting thrown around, and very few contractual agreements.

Con's a headliner and Chilla isn't. They rap damn near the exact same. I think Chilla's an admitted Con stan too.

Difference? Con brands himself as "cool." Super sells his bars. Stays low until he's battling and doesn't battle any one. He's taken a few favors here and there but for the most part Con battles for the look and the next look.

Chilla has no gameplan. He got back on URL but what next? Smack isn't going to headline any events with him. They obviously want him to be the new Swave and battle all PGs. He should rock with whoever HEADLINES him and work for that spot if his name doesn't command that yet. It's more than bars. Chilla has to take more battles that progressively make sense and sell them on these interviews, etc.

URL gets visibility up, and I'm guessing that's what Chilla (and everyone else) is thinking about when they lay down for URL.
