Yeah, he doesn't sound like a generic NY rapper trying to have swag at all![]()
If you have BTN "Big Ten Network" Calicoe is balling with Snoop "Hoop 4 Water". It's on TV now.
Nobody gives a fukk about Calicoe man.
Cheap + always brings barsXcel must be the nicest most easiest battle rapper to deal with
Or its a hell of a lot more muslims behind the scenes than we know of
Cause I can't for the life of me figure out why he keeps getting booked for battles
Well perhaps URL and them other rap battle companies should take notes..... 106 & Park's freestyle friday was the most popular rap battle series EVER and they rapped over beats. It had crossover appeal, and when i say crossover I don't mean race, I mean people from the North. south, east, west.
85% of todays rap battle fans are from up north. That should tell you something.
Up north nikkas the only ones still complaining about no lyrics in hiphop..... but todays listeners around the world just want good beats to turn up too...... So with that being said, rap battle needs to evolve with the climate of today..... They need to rap over beats.![]()
The homie @Ronnie Lott had a thread on the homepage about battlerap.. asking people why they don't listen. I had to take the dog for a walk after this post.
to Lott for trying... but surely you knew it would turn out this way.

Yeah man, shyts crazy. It's even crazier to hear "die hard" hip hop fans look down on battle rap so much..I don't understand how a hip hop fan who appreciates and loves lyricism, bars and the essence of hip hop can't appreciate battle raps current climate.
When I see dudes say shyt like they wana hear nikkaz freestyle off some over beats. I'm seriously likeThey don't realize how restricted battle rap would be if battlers were confined to rapping on beats
There would be no bring it backs, no remixes. The average non battle rap fan has no clue about schemes, double and triple entendres, set ups, haymakers, room shakers etc.
For someone to say that they wana hear battlers rappin over beats in 2016 is like a MF at Best Buy trying to sell you a 2 way pager or a razor flip phone in 2016 and telling you that they would choose those over and iPhone or Samsung![]()
106 is what made me love battle rap. Without 106 I would have never bootlegged Smack DVD battles off Bear Share and Ares. The homie @Ronnie Lott had a thread on the homepage about battlerap.. asking people why they don't listen. I had to take the dog for a walk after this post.
