Unpopular Opinions About Battle Rap
Never really saw Hollow as corny. Just because he can do more than gun bars and typical URL shyt doesn't make him corny. Pretty sure if it's not the voice thing, it's because he can roast someone with a good joke. If anything, he has the range to be in the ring with different types of battle rappers in different eras makes him one of the GOATs, imo. I dunno......guess people want him to be just one kinda battle rapper when he's not.

I don't listen to TWR, but I can say since the beginning, Norbes has rotated the guys on there. That is the way he chose to run his show.
Hollow is extremely corny & it has nothing to do with spitting more than gun bars.
shyt really ain't got nothing to do with New York though. Hollow is from Queens himself. People find Hollow corny, it just is what it is; he kinda is. It doesn't take away from him being a top tier battle rapper in the conversation for both #1 and the GOAT. But Hollow fans have this idea that he is above criticism or that thinking anyone else is better than him is some kind of blasphemous.

I think a lot of the battle rap fans I know in New York overdo it when talking to fans from other areas to be honest. Like they gotta be on some next shyt to show they're ahead of the curve
Hollow is really unpleasant on the ears at times, and it's hard to overlook.
Not just him yelling, but he has a bad rap voice & and he's always starting and stopping. I literally enjoy listening to QP Sons nerdy ass more than him, and that's not good.
He's really talented though, I get why people rank him really highly. But I get why people dislike him too.

I fux with Hollow heavy but not gonna deny he has corny/cringeworthy moments all most every battle.
That being said he deserves to be in talks of goat based on his resume, he never been really killed, takes opponents at top of their height, battled in multipile era's across the country (away games). How does Mook or Lux compare to any of that?

His skillset is the most well rounded.
And he has NEVER ducked a battle THE FANS wanna see.. He's the people's champ.
