i just want to see some fair shyt for a change. im tired of seeing dudes not getting a fair shake on that summer madness stage, then watch the dudes who are perceived to won to not be man enough and admit that the crowd is being a little unfair. how in the world can rex after spitting a ton of nothing say anyone was spitting bullshyt?

dude should have been ran out of harlem for half that bullshyt he said. its like last summer madness, people booing verb for saying "when i get to clapping that arm like a mosquito bit me" okay, just a mediocre line, gotcha, how clips not booed out the city for lines like "im just trying to kill duke im north carolina"?

how is rex not booed after them horrible verb name flips in the 1st? how is verb looked at like he was not saying nothing when verb was exposing all so much new shyt on rex, but rex was saying the same ole bullshyt hitman was saying? i done watched the battle 3 times now. and im just not seeing a easy rex win. the more i watch it the more im just feeling like at this point so many people dislike verb that anybody can get in front of him and they will swear he lost.

verb is a prick at times but sometimes you need the bad guys. i listen for the talent and dude is talented. really after he shouted showtime he wasnt saying nothing after that? is my ears deceiving me? okay you say 2-1 rex, cause the 3rd is short, i get that, but 3-0 rex after verb 1st verse?

i guess ill never understand.

but rex had some crazier than crazy glue moments in that 3rd:

"that can will put him in the air like a jump ball"

"its ironic how shootin can make a nikka pass"

now again, i might just be spoiled by the jc vs chilla but someone break down to me how any of what i posted was hot, and thats not including the other ton of filler that was spit by rex. its hard to get on rex side when im witnessing this. i had a e ness moment and threw my water bottle when he said the shootin can make a nikka pass bar and the crowd didnt react, but it should have gotten booed

i can see a point that if people want to give rex the 3rd cause of verb cutting it short. so from that standpoint i understand 2-1 rex.

I've been saying forever when nikkas was like "Rex is the best out" that his bars are pedestrian as fukk. He delivers them well, but shyt he be saying is not dope at all. Every once in a while he'll say some cool shyt, but that's about it

I still think he won this 2-1, only because I thought, even with some of those bad lines in the third, he had enough decent ones, and Verb really ain't say nothing crazy in the 3rd and it was short.

I'm tight Verb's second got messed up cause it would've been a much closer round if he could've spit it uninterrupted. He should've did like last year and just spit through the boos, because at least this year he got them right back every time they did boo.

nah I disagree the name flips were dope. I thought Rex killed it, I dont know if its not enough new york nikkas on the board cause of power still being out but nikkas shytting on Rex he was dope. I think the obvious bias is that so was Verb and he got booed. Clips you know we see eye to eye on no homo, niggga spits mad mediocre shiiit. I think him and DNA (no surprise seeing as thats his mentor) are the masters of winning in the building by going for cheap applause but on camera you realize its wack

you buggin my dude, Rex in the beginning of his career yes I would fully agree but from the Conceited battle (even though I think he lost barely) until now hes been on another level. Dude is top 5 to me off these past five battles alone.

He rarely says anything hot. Most of his lines are things that have been said a million times or just aren't clever. He was actually better way back then.

you nigggas buggging with the JC Chilla shiiit. I mean its a top battle ever but it aint like weve never seen better. Suddenly a battle gotta be on that level to be dope? Plus Chilla is overhyped to me. He got no performance whatsoever, I think certain dudes would smoke him in performance off the main stage, even dudes with a lot less lyrical ability. JC on the other hand got it all no homo.

I would type out lines but I think we're gonna disagree on them being hot or not. Rex isnt the king of wordplay I give you that, hes just as a rapper at least a dude that spits that street shyt. If I could make a rap music comparison it would be almost like Styles P, dude aint really a good lyricist but just the way he spit make it dope.

Bit at the same time hes not a hitman holla, like technically Rex lyrics are all dope. They just might not be that clever

Verb lost that battle himself, by bytching to Smack...fukk is Smack gonna do? It's obvious that all that "personal" shyt won't fly against Rex as it did against Hitman...who cares about some hoes nobody even knows? And Rex wasn't spectacular either, he did his thing but I still don't understand how this fukkboy doesn't get punched in the face during a battle...all his antics are mad annoying...

The DotMob groupies are annoying too and should be removed from the stage...that cut-out pic was lame too, and Tech 9 + K-Shine are officially corny as fukk.

Rex won 2-1, Verb got the first IMO.
