Watch those battles with an unbiased ear. Stop waiting for bloggers to tell you who won.
:dwillhuh:

YOU may want to re-watch that battle breh.

Not that it would've mattered even if Math had the better material; there's no point in writing great raps if you can't perform them. :yeshrug: T-Top is just a better rapper, period, than Math though, and showed it that battle.

I'm not sure about that. Even with Math stumbling that shyt is debatable to me :patrice:

The crowd took to Top more but the material was there. I think if Math could have got some sleep he probably would have won. But then again Math doesn't always make the best decisions in his career.

"Don't you think Smack would have understood like, congrats on your daughter, go do what you do?"

Soul Khan was nice, he was killing it on Grind Time and he ended two careers on URL.

But, before he took on any top tier battlers in the URL, he retired. He tried to get Conceited, but Con kept duckin him. I don't see a point of him returning now, the game moved on without him and that's it.

:what:

Requirement #1: Have some people actually give a fukk about seeing me on stage again

People do like Khan a lot, never really got the hype

You guys are seriously going to downplay how Soul Khan caught a mean body on URL and made a classic or two on Grind Time? I forget though, if not certain styles or folks in battle rap, I guess it doesn't matter.

Now, I will agree that the game moved on without him. He had at least a 2 year window of getting back in for real after he left. But he's made more moves with the music with his homies Brown bag All-Stars so it is what it is.

Im not arguing that. My point is nobody is out here in the battle rap world is saying damn Soul Khan gotta step in that ring again...... or damn you know what wouldve be a fire matchup? Soul Khan vs. *insert name*.

Hes not in demand like that to be having "requirements" to come back. Period.

I never really liked Khan's style. He wasn't ass, he was good just wasn't my cup of tea. And the two bodies he caught on URL were Foxx and Decan Frost. One who's trash and the other who was a freestyle battler trying to adapt to a newer style.

I like Grindtime shyt but for example, I think Fresco beat Khan CLEARLY no debating but back then people had Khan winning.

Ok, I see what you mean. I don't think his requirements are that bad.

Not feeling his style. All good.

I gotta watch him vs. Fresco again. Had that debatable possibly at the time.

That Fox shyt meant something though. The weird ass back and forths they had and it spilled over from the GT shyt to SMACK/URL. That Deacon Frost battle was a clear win for Khan and it wasn't the biggest win but it did slow down Deacon's momentum badly and now his name is consistently associated with that.

The Fox win was a big moment but when you watch it, it wasn't really good. Plus he did that whole second verse where he just recited classic Hip Hop bars....I always hate when battlers do that.

I'm not trying to erase his legacy, Soul Khan definitely made his mark.

I'm thinking about getting tickets for Mass 3 but am on the fence.

Battlers I'd wanna see:

Bigg K
Illmaculate
Iron Solomon
Chilla
Charlie Clips

Battlers I don't wanna see:
Daylyt
Mickey Facts
Thesaurus

Don't Care:
Pat Stay
Arsonal

Anybody ever been to a KOTD event? Is it chill??

The last Mass card had like 9 battles or something. Feels like it will be super exhausting. I've been to a bunch of Smack events and they're fun as fukk but I dunno they definitely drag after a while too.
I went to the last one, it was fun but sucked standing so long.

The Palladium is much bigger inside than the Middle East though. IDK if they are gonna use actual seats or set it up so everyones standing though.

Ok, we can agree then.....AT THE TIME.....that shyt was poppin'. Rewatching it now, its not as fire as it once was.
I'll give you that.

Sitting at a battle event feels wrong for some reason....but then again I've never been to one (I don't live in the US) so I don't know the feeling of standing for hours at a battle event :pachaha:
