It was a good battle but underwhelming if that makes sense

Thats fine. But all this....it was ass and I did all these chores while I tried to watch the battle is like....ummmm, nah. Battle was actually not as bad as what people keep saying it is.

Just was talking slick, nothing crazy but he definitely was feeling himself.

Don't disrespect Mike P like that breh.
TODD came in the game losing to created players and only started winning when he stole the signature moves from other nikkas.

Mike P was undefeated until he hit URL.
His writing is way more interesting than TODD's

Every battle he writes different and tries to work on his craft.
And he has his OWN moves, which TODD doesn't.

He's very calculated

If you peep his NJT battle he tried another approach every round.
1st round - performance (comeback of his performance move just another character)
2nd round - mimicking + signature style (comeback of his .44 surprisingly low multi syllable move)
3rd round - joke intro + slow heavy barring

He clearly approaches battles that way to see what works for him so he can grow as a battler.
He even says it all the time in his interviews "I'm getting better every battle"
Because he's still testing the water for what works for him every battle with the knowledge he got from his previous battles.
No other PG approaches a battle as calculated as he does.

Compared to TODD who just steals another nikka's signature move.

It's a difference

Mike P is a "jack of all trades" style hack.
Of course he's calculated, he has to be. He doesn't have his own style, he has to watch what everyone else does so he can figure out what to do.
He works hard, he's a good performer but he has no special talents.

He should step it down IMO. Just gun bar him to death. Hollow is going to take some weird "LOM helped Baltimore" angle that won't hit in the room at all. Roc just has to let Hollow flop and bark on him.

Ive been saying the same thing too. Roc needs to just do him. He has a good formula. As long as he is consistent and killed the 2nd round hes straight.

If anything Roc is kinda angle proof.

We WILL NOT get those back. Those are dead, they're content with doing passable and getting the check. Thank God URL is starting to see that and one by one gave these lazy dudes the

The smartest thing URL did was to focus on building new stars and not just book top tier battles.

Its pretty much what separates URL from every other league
