Basically Iron Solomon was trying to OD on disrespectful bars and started off one of his rounds like (paraphrasing here, everything rhymed)... all serious and somber... I wanna give special thoughts and prayers to Niikya and his family, dealing with a brain tumor in their 2 year old child... Cmon breh just leave the argument alone, you don't know enough historically to deal with what is being argued. Now you cherry picking to funnel this argument into what is black and african and what is not. You are in no political or economic position to determine that. Nor do you understand is social ramifications.
I'll only answer your question by repeating what I have already posted. You can't attempt to monopolize the word as if we are the only people who have been disrespected with that word. Nor can you take a people's history away because you currently disagree with their admixture. And you can't make 1 blanket statement on the use of the word without context, otherwise as I have stated, you give credibility to those who say well the rappers say the word nikka why can't i, white people can't say it due to its historical and modern context. If you want to argue the removal of the word period, that's another discussion, but in context, many Puerto Ricans and mexicans are not of the stock of porteguese dutch british and french who invaded those areas, but they are apart of the african stock who were brought there, just as we were brought here. The use of the word grew and developed into their common vernacular with the growth of hip hop just like it did in our community, but , it's not used for the most part, in a disrespectful context. Just used commonly. That is different than when a white racist in a bar somewhere is using it disrespectfully. I don't know how much more detailed I can explain that. It's in the context.
