Are they seriously considering putting Mike P on this? He hasn't put in nearly enough work or isn't nearly talented enough to be on a SM card.

I actually have no problem with this. Part of being the kotd champ is being exclusive to the brand from my understanding. There should be no exceptions.

It sucks that the battle may not happen, but this is one of the reasons why some guys dont pursue the chain.

Nitty was supposed to do Tay Roc bad and look what happened the same way JC flubbed his first big stage battle with Yung iLL

When's the last time JC lost clearly to another bar for bar battler? And are we gonna pretend like Rum doesnt still have some wild reaches mixed with his dope shyt? JC's style makes the crowd way more critical of that type of stuff

"Nitty was supposed to do Tay Roc bad". This was said by NO ONE ever. This angle is almost as bad as Nitty's 3rd round vs Roc.

Nitty's stage presence is pretty good lowkey. He performs his bars (that WeGoHard Robostep WORKS) and he has a dope voice. JC doesn't perform, and he doesn't as much stage presence.

Pen for pen JC is better, but Nitty's style is more appealing to the people who come out to watch Smack battles.

It's annoying but I can't fault them for it. We SEE the push Ice has been given, KOTD put a lot of eggs in that basket. I wouldn't allow him to just go over to UDUBB and be an undercard either.

Man I dislike Mike P's style but I can't name a dozen people who deserve it more that probably won't be on there. I can honestly name FOUR that I feel are more deserving.

Unless JC or Rum shyts the bed I'm assuming they're both on Summer Madness, so I'm leaving them out. Worst come to worst, one is on there and the other isn't. So we can say that's FIVE. Head Ice is contractually obligated to KOTD, so he won't be on there. Who is left? I'm not putting either of the Kannon's on Summer Madness before Mike P.

I kinda agree..I think Roc is gonna put up a fight but Rum is gonna be too strong for him (don't even ask me how) Nitty is punching at a ridiculous level that other battlers just are not touching at the moment

The thing with Mike, is he's consistent, and if you put him in the first battle of the night, you know he's going to put on a fun show. It's like booking the cruiserweights to open up a WCW PPV back in the 90's instead of a bunch of the other midcarders who won't even make the show.

I see ONE reply out of the three saying Roc might lose badly, and that was from brother Ronnie lol.

One person said Roc would get "outbarred", and he arguably did. Another said Nitty's bars would be "too much" for Roc. That's not outrageous. If Nitty didn't try an angle he may have WON clearly.

How does JC fit into any of this?

I respect it, but the "Nitty was supposed to body Roc" is a terrible angle for this JC vs Rum Nitty argument.
I only see one person saying Roc might get bodied.
