lol why do you hate to say it? DNA is a legend.

Are we going to pretend like Twork isn't as awkward and kinda special need-sy as DNA? This match-up is fire on a couple levels.
I'll double up on this one
At some point we gotta have that Mt Rushmore convo about DNA replacing Verb............

After Summer Madness the Mt. Rushmore arguments should get pretty crazy.

Mook has his spot.

Lux has his spot, but if something crazy happens vs Arsonal.....

The last two slots are unclear.

These are the people who I think are in the running for the last two slots

Aye Verb - Aye Verb has been wack for 3 years straight, I can't justify putting him on just for the Midwest Movement, but some who still will. He really can't do anything to secure a spot at this point.

Hollow - If he beats Tay Roc clearly on URL, you can't deny him.

Arsonal - If he beats Lux clearly, people are either going to make a case for dropping Lux off, or putting him on. Ars has done as much if not more for battle rap than Lux.

Tay Roc - If he beats Hollow clear, then he's arguably the greatest battle rapper. He's not as transcendent as the others, but being the best ever has to count for something. Maybe he can slide into that 4th spot.

DNA - He's not as well respected, but he's transcendent in a couple of ways and can make a case that he's the best ever overall. He can go to any battling platform on this planet and win. NWX turned out to be a pretty big deal, he doesn't have a league but the NWX business model has to count for something. Reviving the two on twos was a big deal for battle rap. Percentage wise, he probably has more clear wins than anyone on the list.

Dizaster - Transcendent. I don't rock with dude but he's holding down a whole scene, has done legendary shyt, battled in different languages etc., he's helped battle rap grow. He's been really up and down for a minute though. I don't know if he can do anything to secure a spot across the board, but he's up there. Maybe if he ends up having great 3 round battles with both Hollow & Tay Roc.

Yeah he was. But obviously he's not going to punch a woman, so all that goes out the window.

That's not the point. He probably his hands registered or somethin' right? That's another reason why I saw him not swinging on Shooney.

You forgot T-Rex

His contributions are so slept on. Rex would be such an easy pick if not for a couple terrible moves. He's made some blatant "Fukk battle rap, this is just a hustle to me" moves that will be hard for him to completely live down.

Danny, Shine, Clips, the recycling shyt, etc.

Then you have to pull him out of Mook's shadow on top of all that, but yeah a case can still be made for Rex.

Despite me almost completely whiffing on Tay Roc's huge appeal, I can admit that he's been doing something great in today's battle rap.. But his name just doesn't look right in the Rushmore considerations. It's like he hasn't had enough impact on the entirety of battle rap the way the other names have. Not to me anyway.

I think DNA gets a spot the way a Hall of Famer gets in after a few ballots. Arsonal gets a spot imo regardless of the Lux thing. He hasn't been great these last years, but he hasn't changed either. I think his approach just got old for fans.

Rex and Diz have to be considered as well. Not enough spots for the dudes that deserve it.

I'd say Rex v Arsonal on one vote and Diz vs DNA vs Hollow on the other

I rarely ever want to see DNA but him vs Twork would be a goodie

It actually makes sense. DNA, like any battler, has to have the right opponent. I've never had the dislike towards DNA that TBZ has had, my issue with him was being on cards with battles that make no sense, just to get him on the card.

DNA vs Verb? Only makes sense on Street Status or something nowadays.
DNA vs Suge? More of a UDubb battle nowadays.

The "PG" Killer vs A Recent "PG" Graduate

NJT would have to tighten up his game to win it imo. No stumbles/chokes that give round away. No dry spots.

We know what DNA does. He's going to come with 3 rounds, he's not going to choke, look for opportunities to rebuttal, etc.

You saw Clips vs Tay Roc pt 1 right?
Twenty something battles later, Roc is the top dog of the biggest league.
