I get what he’s saying but Mickey is being unreasonable tho. Letting people know the battles and PPV ahead of time doesn’t mean they’re not about the culture.

The purpose of PPV is viewing it in real time. Filming all the battles and saying “ hey go to watch battles live for a secret event “ isn’t a good move. This is coming from a guy that said he had $0 in his bank account a couple of years back.

Yeah it's battles that do give a more throwback feel by not by hyped for months in advance and being in a smaller venue, but people aren't gonna pay not knowing anything, the closest you could do to that is what kotd does with Blackout and releasing the names and not the battles, but then people would knock them taking that, I'm not gonna be that nit picky I like the concept of og smack style, but this is how they can do it and still see some return
