If you have a guy that bounces between KOTD and RBE, and selects the right battles, it can be done. I think it’s unlikely though, especially now that the url has their shyt together. The URL is on fire right now.
Maybe someone like a Bigg K a few years back when he had stronger material, hadn’t battled everybody, and pre born legacy series.
Hell O Red had that one year when he was killing everybody before he ran into Hitman.

Look I know how you like to hang on the cavity of Battle Tooth's every word, but calm down. COTY is new and you never know with new talent coming up, who could end being in contention of it without being on URL. Thats the point I was making, weirdo.
Edit: There's other leagues out there aside from KOTD. Thought I'd say that in case someone else has something to say.

I haven’t listened yet, but I’m gonna go ahead and speculate. I already know RED wants that battler of a year again and is gonna take the right battles.
Beating a guy like Bmagic does nothing for you when evaluating how your year went. It’s just a paycheck. Red doesn’t move like that when he easily could. He’s most likely gonna battle 3-4 times this year, with all of them being high quality opponents.
Now if there was never a “champion of the year” award, I could see him taking the battle.
It just shows how much Bmagic has fallen. The guy is a low quality opponent in 2018.
Funny but I was the first guy to say I’d rather see Lux against a guy like O-Red as opposed to JC. This is when JC was hot too. I just think O is s better battler then JC.

He'd would probably nominate himself to pull an okey doke with the bread for the One United Frauds.
I respect it. Goodz is very entitled, so ARP had to do something that sends a message to the fans + sends a message to him. RBE had two more possible matches lined up for him, and he still punched Jimz.
I think there's enough space for battle rap to become more professional without compromising entertainment value, so I'm happy to see RBE move in this direction.
ARP is more transparent than he needs to be, but I guess on the flip I have a deeper respect for his brand.
Slightly disappointed that he didn't take any responsibility for the way TODD vs Bigg K was promoted, but if they feel like he had no hand in creating that energy then cool.
