Rewatched Hollow/Verb and Hollow clearly 2-0'd Verb! Verb wasn't even going at him directly until the very end of this second which most of us remember. "Lightskin slender guy" maybe one of the best multi-syllable verses in a battle but Verb caught that L. Hollow was cookin.

"Soon as my plane fell I said take me to where they bang shells, tech's fly and they make cocaine sales"

"Verb tried to show me to the arch... WHO'S TAKING ME TO THE WEST SIDE OF PAIGEDALE?!"

I put Chess first up there with the likes of

Shines 1st vs Surf
Hitman 2nd vs JJDD
Tay Roc 3rd vs Ill Will
etc

People said i was bugging. Chess was one stumble away from beating Roc CLEARLY. This battle is what started his downfall. It's fukked up cause mateiral wise Chess was smoking everything leading up to and including that battle. If Chess stops right before the police segment of his 3rd he wins. He literally over rapped himself into a loss.


Almost beat the top nikka in battle rap and lose to Ty Law and Chef Trez in the same year

Super weird that they're trying to silence these dudes tho the fukk is the endgame? These dudes just gonna form up like voltron and really go hard against them

I'm taking Chess's first over Hollow's first against Clips and Surf's 3rd against Hitman. I'm tempted to take it over Clips over Rex as well. Just as far as verse vs. verse. His didn't have the impact theirs had, for various reasons, though.

Nah a round full of elite gun bars isn’t gon be better than Hollow’s first vs Clips imo. It is the best breakdown round of all time. I watch Chess vs Roc probably once a week, but a round of talking to a nikka is gone be better than a round of talkin bout what you’ll do in your dreams with guns
