Roc Hollow is definitely not a classic, it got wild dry spots
Roc vs Cal was on its way to a classic but that 3rd made it not classic.

Nothing wrong with a GOOD battle, it’s just not a classic
nikkas really forcing the classic stamp on battles instead of just appreciating it for just being a dope battle imo

Classic to me is Hollow vs Lux
Watch that and Hollow vs Roc back to back and you see why it’s NOT a classic

Classic to me is JC vs Chilla,
watch Ave vs Nitty after that and you see why it IS a classic

I definitely disagree. I also think Hollow vs Lux is a classic, but it has dry spots as well. Matter of fact, Hollow had several dry spots against Lux. Besides his battle with Big T, I think his battle with Roc is Hollow best performance. Roc and several haymakers, and had crazy energy in the battle. A battle don’t have to be perfect to be a classic.

Smack fukked up booking 3 cards with no heavy hitting battles in advance. ARP pulling a 4th quarter comeback. If he really locks in that Lux battle, the undercard will be bananas.

SMACK URL definitely did the right thing by booking events and making sure the roster they are building wasn't just sitting there. But they did forget that if the bag is right....Mook will be back.

And I'm soooooo glad Verb said what he said to Surf on Twitter. What makes it worse is that they battled and everyone, aside from Surf stans, knows that Verb clearly took that battle.

Thinking about that Verb vs Surf battle, make me think about how much GO-Rilla Warfare dropped the ball on so many battles. I think the GO-Rilla Warefare and Blackice fallout hurt both leagues in different ways.

I agree. I still think Black Ice was hurt by the spit too. Gracie had connections with a lot of battle rapper, and it could of helped Black Ice get bigger battles

Woulda been Clips if he didn't have that fall off period. I kinda still thinks it's possible if he keeps going, and gets whatever big battles are left and wins. Maybe a rematch or two to show he can win.

Also, looks like Math could really pull off the 3 for 3. He just clearly won the hardest of the three matches. If he can repeat that performance on Snake Eyes and Real Deal, that's two 30s, possible bodies.

Nah Clips got Hollow and Lux in the same year and did nothing with those opportunities. Its a shame because we talking about clear wins, and Clips has the most impressive body count in the game. But he missed his shot.

Hence "a rematch or two". I think getting Mook and tearing him apart would help the case too. It's his fault he's not the GOAT, but I can't say it's impossible to get there. He's far more active than anyone else in the argument sans Tay Roc, his resume is crazy, and he has a LOT of clear wins and a lot of bodies. IMO, Lux is the only person in the conversation on pure talent.

Verb is making the best music out of all of these battle rappers right now. I think it might be messing with the way he battle. His music is much more mature. Battle fans want to hear that ignorant Verb with the rapid fire flow. I think it is creating a disconnect between him and battle fans.

I don’t know if he’s releasing the best music. It seems like he just releases teasers. He’s doing freestyles over beats and short songs that have been fire, but I need to see an actual project.

I fukk with Verb, but I don’t like any of his projects. I think where Verb’s at now, he can release a strong project as long as the beats are there. His rapping is there. We don’t really have to worry about that. It’s the beats.

Clips embodies the phrase "wasted talent" even moreso than QP because Clips actually killed the best battlers and got to Lux and Hollow, and then fell like Icarus
