Hollow was speaking 100% facts. Lux's buzz was NUTS when Hollow took him. NO ONE wanted smoke with Lux. I saw all the blogs during the fallout of SM2. Everyone was scared to death of Lux.
And Hollow stepped up to the plate and made Lux seem mortal again. That's why after that battle Hollow became a legend himself. Because he took on Lux when he was THAT nikka, and had a classic with him. Mook reused all of Hollow's angles and beat Lux in a trash battle. A win is a win regardless, but Mook is straight up bullshyttin

No one wanted to see Mook after the Solomon battle. His stock was in the toilet. If it weren’t for Total Slaughter I’m not sure where he would be.
No one wanted to see Mook/Lux 2. Total Slaugter was looking to make the biggest battle possible despite that it didn’t make sense. This all worked in Mook’s favor. That one battle helped make regain his status and gives the perception that he is better than he actually is. I mean the guy 3-0’d Lux. I don’t think there’s any battle out there after the Solomon battle that could do what the Lux battle did for him. He gained back some respect, did gladiator school, signed with Busta, etc

Yeah I think that out of all the legends from the SMACK era, Lux at least proves his worth the most. He has proven that he is still head and shoulders above most battlers from the new era and can get busy at will. Mook is the one out here using smoke and mirrors. Lux actually shows you why he is who he is.
- Came back after almot a decade and zipped up the hottest battler at that time in possibly the GOAT battle
- Came back after the Mook loss and performed lyrical homicide on Clips.
- After everyone talked shyt about his Arsonal battle and JC started talkin crazy, he dropped the hot 97 freestyle and put everyone in their place.
That's why I feel a kinda way when folks lump him and Mook together when talking about legends that just live off their name.

yeah that Lux win saved him. Though it speaks volumes that such a terrible battle put Mook back on top. Sure it makes him undefeated but that's two stinkers in a row. and I have a feeling the Verb battle will make it 3
