To me X is a much better pure MC than Pac. Pac was very poetic but DMX attacked with a ferociousness that I don't think Pac had. See, Pac had anger, which is dope but X attacked like he wanted to physically harm the production.

Pac made better diss records, but also Pac's diss records weren't really displays of lyricism, more displays of truth telling and or empty threats.

When it comes to use pure MCing, I don't know a Pac track touching "Critical Condition", "Can't Touch the Kid" or "Tales From the Darkside" or "Unstoppable Force"
All first verse!

All I have to go off is diss tracks and actual rap ability, so I have to go with pac. I can’t really go off past stories.

Hell meek mill battled and I think the guy is trash.

I hate this is slowly turning into 2pac vs Dmx. DMX was just so mediocre to me. You’re an east coast guy so I should expect you to ride with him.

There’s got to be some hidden mixtape music that I’m missing, because I don’t hear it when it comes to DMX.

Also, DMX can bring that damn dog on stage if he wants, but Suge’s dog Damu > DMX dog

The regional bias is a soft excuse. Is that the impression that my posts give off?

DMX has proved he can battle, Pac hasn't.

Diss tracks are irrelevant, Joe Budden made dope diss tracks. DMX battled.

Pac has the voice and projection to shake any room.

But so does X, then X has an additional rap performance layer & battle experience on top of that.

Why do you have to like DMX's music for this to make sense? Is that the roadblock for you here? I listen to way more Pac than I do DMX. I like Pac's diss records more than DMX diss records. But this is battle rap.

Rex said himself that X killed him in their battle. X had the voice, projection, and energy to be a good battler. You don’t have to be a fan X to see that. And that is not taking anything away from Pac. It don’t have to be an either or thing.

Pac would be a mix of Qleen and Hitman

Imagine him doing the spin :pachaha:

And then someone exposing him for being a backup dancer and remixing the spin on him :ohhh::krs:

I would have Pac studying Qleen, I think that's the lane he really would do well in. Qleen probably studies Pac, but as a battler that's how I would want to see Pac.

The reason we disagree, is because I’m basing my opinion based on the material that is out there. All we have to go off is music and rap ability. I’ve never seen DMX battle. There is no footage. What part of that are YOU not understanding?

Rex said himself that X killed him in their battle. X had the voice, projection, and energy to be a good battler. You don’t have to be a fan X to see that. And that is not taking anything away from Pac. It don’t have to be an either or thing.

Did DMX vs T-Rex even seem like a real battle to you? DMX spits a couple of bars and his dog starts growling. I honestly think T-Rex put that story out there just to say “ hey everyone I battled DMX.” The nygga was probably smiling and looking at DMX the same way he looked at Diddy at SM2.

I don't feel as strongly about DMX being a better overall Mc.
But X has so many little battle rappish things he does regularly.

The constant changes in inflection, the pregnant pauses, the manner in which he works a stage.

Supposedly he started the Spellbound rhyme style in jail in like 1989, so he could probably body the WeGoHard room too!!!

DMX was battling people by spelling words in a rhyme & doing poverty raps 25 plus years ago.

I figured this out a while back and unsubscribed because he is 99% of his own comments. He doesn't even take time with his trolling.

I decided to take a break from the dark web battle rap bloggers (Posey voice) because at the end of the day you're watching black men trying to destroy each other which is wack.

I stopped hating on Tony Bro because he never wanted to be in the drama bullshyt, his co-hosts just always seem to drag him into things. He also loosened up and started firing on Rome :pachaha:

Jay Blac and this whole fake love for Hoffa though. I was there in Raleigh and watched Champion operate. I'll just say this, they are NFL Network. I can't watch their content but some people like that. I still don't support him.

:salute:

Battle rap is full of lazy people, that's why guys like Jay Blac & Avocado have way more pull than they should have. I see a lot of the funny stuff Blac does, but I just don't feel comfortable coming at people who consistently outwork everyone around them.

I even benefit from Jay Blac in a way. Whether it is "fake love" or not, I said if Math wins all 3, he deserves a nice promo push from the fans to help him get the battles he wants. And Champion was on it right away.

See I don't think Geechi is on a level where he can help train anyone. He's new talent, and everyone loves him for now.

I get what you're saying but IMO if an industry rapper wants to cross over the most important thing is picking a writing style that fits their brand and skill set. If Game came in trying to get too punchline heavy I think it would come off as corny. Imagine if he tried writing some Danny Myers type shyt :francis: People already clown him for name-dropping too much in his music, if he was doing the same thing in a battle it wouldn't hit. Also while he has size (pause) and presence, I don't think he could go straight bully/aggression like a Suge because that's too one-dimensional. Geechi does the street shyt well but with enough wit in there to keep it from droning on too much, plus he has enough charisma to make the comedy work.
