My biggest problem with Drake's "Duppy " freestyle is he rapped like that a very long time ago. But when he gets dissed on a track, he goes back to that style but we can't get that from this guy on his albums or mixtapes anymore. No sing songy trap shyt. No tropical club shyt. No borderline Keith Sweat-esque R&B shyt. Him rapping like he did at one point that showcased what he was known for. And after the ghostwriter thing, I'm like I hope he wrote it because the overhyping of the diss didn't erase that from my memory. And to top it off, he dropped a mediocre single we have heard him do before afterwards. And he didn't have any of this smoke for Joe Budden when he lit him up. Smdh.
With that said, battle rappers should know better. As much crime shyt most of these guys talk about, I'd think they would roll with Pusha. Guess not.
