I don't think RBE can put together a matchup that would get me excited anyway. I respect the platform, but ARP takes a liking to battlers and battles that don't do it for me. I give him credit, because it's well thought out from his point of view.

Agreed. The temporary boost was a good look for the moment and then all you were left with were fans who didn't give a fukk about battle rap. Just a bunch of fans of Oxxxy's who supported and dipped. However, KOTD linking up with Chalked Out helps their UK fanbase but not overall internationally and they still continue to have good events. But being able to top SMACK URL with what they're doing will always be tough because they know thats not fully their market; only a portion of it. Plus, I think putting too much on these leagues to surpass one another can be overrated at times, too, because the "top league" can give the fans some fukked up product at the end of the day as well.
