They want to catch SM up to NOME, and to make up for that missed SM. However, it’s really watering down the product. They just let anybody on SM.
The guys who don’t really deserve it should take advantage of the opportunity.
Does anyone think Diz is going to be on the London Card? It just seems like the type of card he would be on.
Diz has a international fan base, but I don’t know who he could battle on URL unless it someon like loso, or B Dot. But those battles are not summer madness worthy, even if they are watering it down. I also think Diz is trash and hope to never see him battle again.
BDot & Loso have only had one battle and don't deserve a SM. I find it odd that those were the initial names that came to your mind.
Most people don’t find Mook entertaining either though lol.
That’s the main thing. fukk the battlers, Smack is the most likely to no show the event due to some fukkery in Vegas.

Personally I find this whole “entertaining” shyt corny
During the DVD era I was watchin Lux, Mook and em for the skill they displayed
It was all about the bars FIRST to me
This current era fans value the weirdest non-lyricism related shyt

Breh, when Roc starts sweating in the second round

nikkas deadass gave Chess years of excuses cause he was “entertaining”
Instead of critiquing the fact he went over the time limit and choked every battle.
All because of his “star power”
Shyt is corny ass hell to me.
Not everybody should have to be a star in order to be well respected.
And I know nikkas gon’ come in on some “but nikkas have to sell tickets”
Mickey Factz made a great point on AFR a while with me that always stuck with me.
He said there used to be a time where rappers feared battlers.
They would talk about em in fear all the time.
This was BEFORE nikkas started focusing on Starpower.
He said now they just talk about em, but they don’t fear em anymore.
Hollow came up being respected for his skillset, not his interviews/videos like a Tsu Surf. And I feel like that should be praised cause he actually puts work in his battles, where it should count the most
I personally don’t give a fukk about a faceoff, make sure you do ya shyt in ya battle.
If I know nikkas gon’ come with it regardless, I don’t need a faceoff to get me hype cause I know the battle will be fire.
That’s the problem right now.

And nikkas fans be so entertained by the faceoff they condone the shyt, shyt is backwards imo

And turn around and not care about a 3rd cause FEELS he won the first 2.
During a battle you got paid good money for by the SAME platform you wave the flag for
And his fans condone that shyt instead of looking at it as disrespect to SMACK and the culture who put him on.

I know that. I’m saying battles that make sense on a SM. This conversation is based on the possibility of Diz being a good fit for SM 8. Hollow is already battling John John, so I can’t think of anyone else besides the names I mentioned that would be a good battle for him.

This is the URL. They book plenty of matches on paper that don’t make sense. As I said, there are plenty of opponents out there.
Now that dizaster is supposedly cool with math, I’m sure URL will book him just to stick it to kotd.
