I was fukking with it up until the 2 on 2, even though it was dope seeing hollow/lux rhyme but it didnt make sense to me he would team with him immediately after the daughter angle. then also him getting punched and getting back up to rap and spitting his tooth out etc was just not realistic at all. I liked that they tried to adress after the battle how him and Ben wasnt cool anymore but they shouldve expanded on it. His gf was an annoying bytch but i see why they put the whole college liberal aspect. the movie prob needed more time though it was already two hours, it was at like 1:45 when adam and ben are battling. cool movie but yeah they ended it abruptly and just unrealistic imo

So the hero climax moment is

Diz punches him mid freestyle and knocks a tooth out......breh pulls a Mike P and gets up bleeding to spit another 4 and everyone including Diz applauds and treats him like the GOAT white guy, king over all minorities in their sport he just made a complete mockery of (mid round)

I watched it for the people of the cultures cameos but fukk man in hindsight i dont think it's a good look for them


Oh and Mike P gonna catch a meeeean haymaker about this being a biopic of him

I watched this when it dropped, but I remembered liking it a lot when I saw it in the theaters. Y'all have to remember Bodied is a comedy/satire movie, so the intention wasn't to be taken that serious.

I agree with my boy @wtfyomom tho, it turning into a 2 on 2 was really the only part I hated because even tho it is a comedy, it was a realistic portrayal of the Grindtime/KOTD side of battle rap until that point. I won't complain because I loved the Lux/Hollow bars

In the Grindtime/KOTD side, this is pretty much accurate.

Yet the movie used primarily URL talent and really played up that it was some nikka shyt, havin char as smack and Ars posted up like a goon...dude was the only white guy who got to rap forreal, the Pat Stay/Rone part was a parody of weirdo battlers (racist, choke artist, failing comedian) so it came off like a bunch of nikkas pennin race/stereotype bars all day and battle rap is a joke

The big t/benn battle in the beginning was the only one with realistic bars
