Midtier but let's not forget there are at least a thousand nikkas that treat him like he's a god. And all he's done is try to open doors for them.
All those years no one challenged him as the holder of that WeGoHard torch until Ish Mulah. Wavy got on and never came back. Dougy had a spark when he started. Cool flamed out. Brooklyn Carter never refined his style. Ryda stopped repping WGH. Only Pharoah stepped up, then he died bad.
And for the record Steams missed his FIRST non PG battle because he had to work. I think he was supposed to be on the first Born Legacy. Dude has always been professional. When they blindly started shipping East Coast guys out West, he stepped up for that. His style is an acquired taste, but he deserves the respect.

The problem with Verb I constantly see ignored when people say “you’re gonna lose over time”
Verb lost BADLY to creates players.
You can’t tell me you hold Verb’s L (which was bound to happen)
With the same weight as Verb losing to cotdamn Jimz and D.I. Da Hennyman
Imagine Lux losing to Jimz and Hennyman, just let that marinade for a second..
FACTS
Cal was only had momentum because he beat Math who was feared physically, NOT in Battlerap.
He DIED vs GE the last battle before he faced Lux.
I remember it clearly, URL didn’t put out the footage to protect his IMAGE and SELL the Lux battle and here we are talkin bout Cal was “that nikka back then” because of it.

I’ve ALWAYS said this. Steams is NICE, he’s just unique as hell making him an acquired taste.
It’s like when Twork came out and nikkas didn’t hear how nice he put shyt together and I had to do a whole damn breakdown of how fire he does it.
You clearly don't get it breh.
QP and Bangz don't have a flow whatsoever and they just don't have any street feel to them.
Born has a flow but his is way more conventional so they can't be compared whatsoever
Twork is not in THEIR lane, his rhyme structure and set ups are way different than QP and Bangz
The closest comparison you have to Twork is Steams
Who like Twork has A FLOW to support the unorthodox rhymepatterns.
And like Twork also emphasizes words to let you know where he is in the rhymepattern.
They're actually so similar they both even have their own unique bop when they're spittin
Cause that's clearly how they create their flow.
With Twork it's like a lil hop
And with Steams it's a rocking back and forth motion (he even talks like that, peep his interviews lol)
I'll give you an EXACT same example off Steams having an unorthodox haymaker like Twork
And you can check my previous post to see I said the EXACT same thing about how Twork does it
• barwise and rhymepattern wise his setup is unorthodox
• he emphasizes the words to let you know where he's at in the rhythm and set up
• and he PERFORMED the bar to make it hit outta NOWHERE

I always said Steams and Twork are the closest comparison in how unique they are and how nice they put bars together.
URL needs Trez in the top tier. He represents like 50% of tall athletic black teenagers I see everyday, and I'm in NYC. These kids are super lethargic unless they're dancing or hooping. Most of these other battlers would look like aliens walking down the street.
