Verb had a lot shyt in that Brizz battle. Not sure what the nygga is talking about, or why he named 2 rookie vs vet battles as battles that didn’t make sense. They fit the concept.
All of those battles made sense at the time.
Aye Verb vs Brizz and Top vs Clips was on Rookies vs Vets. BTW Verb was fire in that battle. That was Verb’s last crazy performance with his old style. After the Brizz battle he started stumbling through his rds.
Clips and Top made sense at the time because Clips was just bodied Rex and people was saying he was the goat. Top won UFF and was the Top Rookie.
John John and Roc was going back and forth for a while before they battled. Plus John John just bodied Wavy on SM.
Twork and Tez was just a surprise battle on SM. Tez was grinding for years and Twork was still new. It made sense to give Tez a SM look, and to get Twork on the big stage again after he lost to Mike P on NOME.

It wasn’t a fire battle but I think Verb beat Mook. I do think Verb vs Twork is a fire battle though. Verb vs B Dot was also a good battle. So was his battle with The Saurus.When was Verb's last good/fire battle?

Verb was saying some cold shyt against Real Deal, but he was stumbling through his rds. That has been his been problem. He still been dope lyrically, but his performance wasn’t clean, and he lacked energy. I don’t expect that to be a problem in this Lux battle. He has a lot of time to make sure he fully know his rds.

Verb vs Brizz & T-top vs Clips both made perfect sense lol why would you bring up those two matchups?.
Top & Brizz are the 2 most dangerous in their class, and even back then they had the green light as the main nyggas worth talkin' about, both got praises from all the vets long before rookies vs vets....at that time, why not give them shots at two of the best.
All trash battles...maybe I'm in the minority but URL WAS quality over quantity up until SM3..I think they should have had a hold on quality battles (top battlers only roster) by now but looks like 2019 they got their heads screwed on..
I don't know what to expect from Lux in the Verb battle.
There's a large part of me that thinks he could get booed badly in Houston. I do think he's capable of captivating the audience as well.
I think TBZ is east coast heavy, therefore I'm not sure yall understand how some of this shyt he does just won't go over in the south. He did not get booed one time in the Arsonal battle. I really believe if he rapped that material in the south or midwest he's getting booed.
