We’ve seen this kinda posturing from ARP before. The whole Daylyt/King Los situation was handled poorly but we skated past it because it was Daylyt.
Rosenberg spewed a typical battle rapper boast (claimed he help ARP become what it was/is which is somewhat true) and ARP edited the footage with the "why you always lying" dude in the battle during his round.

If Verb signed the contract, and accepted the deposit with a date on the contract. As a business owner if you come back saying, I want to change the date in the contract so I can help prepare for a different battle with your main competitor. I mean I kinda get why ARP wouldn't want to do that. If Verb signed the contract he signed the contract.
On a personal level I think ARP should just let him reschedule it, and generally I'm on the battlers side. But if this is what happened I do understand ARPs point of view to a degree.
I don't know the order of events or what exactly was agreed upon and when though
Arp handled this like an idiot, let verb have a good showing vs. Lux and you can have Verb/Iron headline a whole event, that's a whole nother bag instead of trying to make a super card
If Verb returned a URL deposit to battle Mook on RBE and they didnt trip over it, how the fukk YOU look trying to set that man up after he gave you your money back so he could battle Lux, a guy he been chasing for 8 years?
The fact that he tried to announce that battle speaks volumes, he wanted fans to be mad at verb, he wanted to get his card some extra publicity cuz everyone thinkin about lux/verb right now, and just outright disrespected Verb, you took the deposit back knowing that meant the battle was off for now then do this?
Battle rap has the WOAT business sense out if all of the niche markets i pay attention to
