Yeah

The hype they generate are great, but the actual battles? They always turn out anywhere from mediocre to trash in general. You have your exceptions of course.

magic/con was good i thought, it wasnt a classic or very good but i dont ever expect a battle to be a classic, too many factors go into it, so if its at least good im ok, plus it wasnt the main event or anything. if anything i think it shouldve happened earlier, that could have made it better but con was ducking for whatever reason

Magic/Con was good because of Magic, he said a lot of FIRE shyt in that battle. I only watch that battle for his rounds. With that said I'm still always gonna have faith in grudge matches because Hitman vs verb, QP vs QP and Clips/Rex exists

Clip vs Rex was not a grudge match. In fact, that was originally just gonna be a money move for the Teddy Grizzle event in AZ. URL decided to pick up the battle. They weren't gonna even do personals until Rex changed his mind. My guess is he thought the Charlie Clips "pops" angle was gonna win him the battle.

I'll admit, the battle has a "feel" of a grudge match when you are watching it. If you know the history of the battle, you would know they were extremely cool going into the battle and Rex sort of changed the rules.

Facts. Magic destroyed Con IMO. I also go back to that battle just to watch Magic’s rounds.
