I haven’t seen the AVE battle yet, and I’m hearing the Jerry West battle didn’t go his way. He is a real good candidate. He’s been given ample opportunities, but is in the exact same spot.

I haven’t thought about it, but he just may be, one of the losers in battle.

How bad was the Jerry West battle? He may need to go in.

I use to play their Dynasty freestyle all the time. Believe me, I understand how eastcoast rappers were much nicer then the shyt they put out. Their singles just never felt organic.

Yeah it’s part of the business.

I thought Joe Budden was the worst rappers I ever heard based on his singles. You couldn’t tell me the dude wasn’t trash. I stumbled onto Mood musik and was like

You really didn’t see such a contrast with west coast/Midwest/southern artists, because their music in general can translate to radio play much easier.

The east coast guys are at their best when you just let them rap, so when they make radio friendly tracks, it can come off as forced and corny. That’s why “Yeah that’s us” just doesn’t work.
